This place is on point, greeted when we first entered and thanked before we left. The service was great, cashier was pleasant and efficient while taking our order. The food was amazing!! Collared greens, mac &cheese, yams, yellow rice, chicken and cat fish. The cornbread hits the mark. Soul food that speaks to the soul. Finally soul food done right. If you didnt know now you know, cornbread is where to go.

This spot has a cozy and friendly environment, comfortable to gather with friends. The coffee was so delicious, I went ahead and tried the corn it was warm and fresh. I ordered grits and eggs, it was healthy low in salt. It's also a vegan spot it's what I liked too.Parking: Comfortable parking

The food took over an hour and came out staggered so we couldn’t eat together without letting food get soggy and cold. Very mediocre food, not worth the wait, VERY overpriced. Do not come here.

My son and his friends went here after school one day. A big group of kids, could have been overwhelming. But my son said that the staff was SO nice to them. I love their food, but that made me love them more. Really happy to have a place like this in Montclair!

5 stars to the woman taking customers orders while smiling, remaining cool and focused in the midst of a busy day - August 5th. This morning I decided I wanted some coffee and cornbread. Pulled up and saw cyclists in the parking lot and in Coffee and Cornbread. Coffee and cornbread were excellent. Sometimes you just want something light to start the day. Give them a try.

They served probably the best instant coffee I’ve ever had, but it’s freaking INSTANT coffee. Otherwise food would get 4 stars. Indoor dining there was not fun. I appreciate ceramic coffee mugs and other washable tableware, but not the takeout plastic in which it was served. Food was fine but pricey. And my stool wobbled as I sat the entire meal.

As a southern girl it was truly refreshing to get REAL southern food - done HEALTHY and MADE TO ORDER! I will definitely return!And a Special thank you for the warm reception and love shown, I don’t know the last time I had such a genuine experience of appreciation as the patron of a business! The menu is expertly curated to allow for enjoyment by vegans and omnivores alike. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food exceeds expectations. We will definitely be back.
