“Always a pleasure to interact with this family. The son and the mother have great customer service skills??, the dad is fine too. The staff is kind and great at accommodating your request, if asked. I have been coming to this store over 10 years. And it’s always a pleasure.
They carry a lot of Caribbean produce and products. The price for the items are reasonable. I normally get my Dr. Woods body wash there, it’s cheaper at this location, Benjamin Olive Oil, Foska Oats, frozen breadfruit, frozen ackee, coconut jelly, packages tried herbs; cinnamon leaves, pimento leaves, soursop leaves, and so much more. And I just have to mention the cut flowers and roses, fresh and at reasonable cost whenever I make my purchases, remember you can have them put it in a vase together for you.
Like I said a go to place for me for years.

I come at least once a month to stock up on all my favorite Mediterranean and Turkish products for my kitchen from lavash and pita bread, to olives, beyaz peynir, and especially the grape leaves. They have the little Beypazari bottles, Turkish delights, my favorite chocolates, sujuk… so many amazing things! I truly adore this store. It’s small, super cute, always well-stocked, and the service is great. Highly recommend it!”

“I have been tight on cash since my unemployment, and I used TooGoodToGo for groceries. The brothers gave me 1 bag of fresh Kale and another bag of groceries, 5 times more than they are supposed to give me for what I paid. They are so nice about it too. This shop represents everything I love about NYC mum and pop shops.
The produces are so fresh, It’s worth walking the extra 20 blocks to get groceries from them.”

“ALDI delivers! First, I need to thank a college friend of mine who told me about this superstore. Also, there is a way to get delivery from ALDI, and you can do so in the Bronx as far as I know here. Communication is your best friend in this online world, and ALDI is more than happy to deliver. The lady who delivered was so kind and knocked to let me know that the groceries I purchased were here by my door, earlier than the expected time. Kindness goes a long way, and though a fee is included for delivery, I don’t mind it at all.”

Nice big super market very affordable nice and clean environment. Also used to have self check out registers. Please make sure to have the receipt.
You can purchase for bags if you don't bring your own bags. Again though if you don't do that, at check-out they put your stuff in a shopping cart that doesn't move, so you have to take your stuff out of the shopping cart for the next person to use.
Provide a bagging area with counter space to organize and bag your own groceries.
Please remember to bring your own reusable shopping bags. You can buy the Aldi reusable bags, insulated bags... Make sure to ask how much the bags cost.
To use a cart, will need a quarter.
When are done shopping, please take the cart back to the cart corral and connect the cart back to the others and get quarter back.
Please return carts to the designated area.”

The couple runs it are super nice and honest, even my Asian mother doesn't speak any English they communicated so well and when mom ran out of coins, they just told her keep the fruit!! “Aldi surpasses Walmart in value. Their selection is not as varied but honestly how many varieties of non-dairy milk, eggs, etc do you really need. There may be some days where grocery staples may not be available but this is not frequent. Morning hours are better than late afternoon or evening hours but that’s the case anywhere you shop at. I have seen more and more people from other areas shopping here. You’re all welcome. There’s enough to go around. Also know there another Aldi on Tonnelle Ave in North Bergen ?”
