Jamie, Esther and the whole team are very kind and talented manicurists. They are gentle and patient throughout the whole process, while being efficient. Jamie stands behind her salon and if there is ever an issue with my nail cracking - due to my own fault - Jamie will fix it right away at no charge and with a smile. Started out great...but I asked the lady Annie to fix my nail 1 time too many and she had a bad attitude ? mumbling under her breath they got 45$ for a pedicure and she had an attitude NEVER AGAIN !!!!! ?

I cane in for a full set, & I was told that the products they use are high end and will last longer. NEEDLESS TO SAY, One day after getting my nails done 2 nails broke & I had to come in to fix. Now 3 more nails have broken and it’s only been 1 week and a half. I was charged $80 because of “how good the products are” . Don’t waste your time or money. She also took 2 and half hours to do my nails. & not to mention while I was sitting there she referred to one of her clients “the Spanish girl” I read in one of the reviews how an African American got turned away from service, they are racially profiling their clients. It no surprise, they are located in a predominantly Jewish community. If you’re Hispanic or of color , take your buisness elsewhere

I would give 5 stars for the performed services (many thanks to Diane) but only 1 star to the owner for customer service, so the review rating is the average. I’ve been coming to this salon for many years, through three different owners, but this last experience was unfortunate, and it was due to the owners rudeness. I expect three things from a nail salon; that the services be executed well and professionally, that the environment be clean, relaxing and attractive, and that I be welcomed and treated like a wanted customer. So the service was great (Diane and Sandra do great work!), the salon was clean and the new pedicure chairs, are a nice upgrade, but the owner I felt was surprisingly rude, to the extent that other customers remarked on it, sadly saying this was not unusual. I had made a request about what was being shown on the TV playing right in front of me. Owner is the only one who runs the TV, so I asked her and she agreed. But then she did nothing. A few minutes later I asked again and she said out loud “I’m busy. I’m working here. You’ll have to wait!” That got people’s attention, including mine. But I patiently waited and 1/2 hour later, when she got up, I asked again. She quite reluctantly then changed the channel (from the news, which is not relaxing, to a cooking channel, better). Other customers expressed their dismay over the reaction and also said that this was fairly normal treatment. Everyone around was embarrassed. I’ve read some of the recent reviews and it seems like the negative ones have to do with the owners sense of customer service. I don’t know. It would be a shame to have to find somewhere else, especially given the upcoming summer season. Maybe previously the owner was not present.Services: Callus removal

I just lost my mother four days ago, and thought going to do something for myself would make me feel better. I called the salon this morning and no one answered. My phone rang two minutes later, someone from the salon called me back, asking if I had called. I told the person yes, I wanted to know if I could be seen at 10 am. The lady said yes 10 am would be fine. I arrived at the nail salon at 9:55 and the owner/manager told me that I am lying about getting an appointment, although my phone clearly showed that someone from the salon called me and my telephone number was written in the appointment book for a10 am appointment. While standing there another person walked in an stated the same thing I had just stated not one minute before and she was escorted in. The other person was of course white(Jewish). The double standard abounds. The owner is brash, and does not know what good customer service looks like. It is a shame I have been using Nail Queen for as long as I have lived in NJ. I implore all people of color and those who have kindness in their hearts, do not give this salon your business. I no longer live in Teaneck but drives to Teaneck from Rochelle Park to get a pedicure and manicure. I will no be going back

New Management, WORSE service. Actually, let's just talk about being a respectful human towards your customers. If you don't look like their "ideal" customer and demographic, I would advise not coming here. If you're a POC, they won't appreciate your business or respect you as a person. New owners are disgustingly rude. They want you to sit there and have things done their way. I asked for the owner to not use an electric file on my natural nail (because it's extremely damaging). Because she wanted to rush, she got visibly upset with me. They ignored me and literally turned their face as I still said thank you when finished and leaving. The ladies that work here are wonderful and polite. It sucks that the owners have and show nasty behavior. Ladies and gents, let's demand better from our service places and boycott them when they are rude. We are paying for these services. Since Covid they have risen their prices and delivered worse service. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

BEWARE!!! the quality of service has completely changed- THEY ARE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT and the new owner is completely rude and unprofessional. She declined service for my grandmother even though an appointment had been made for her and declined my mom service IN THE MIDDLE OF GEL REMOVAL because of the same reason. It is such a shame that such a great salon has changed for the worst, as my family and I have been loyal customers for years.
