I'm conflicted about this review. To start off I loved the way that they were packaged while it took me awhile to open they ensured that no spills would occur during transport. Now for the review... I feel that the pickles tasted that way they were supposed but I am not a fan of the horseradish ones. I expected crispy, crunchy, sour and then a kick of spicy. I got the salty not sour, a small crunch but none of the spicy and I didn't enjoy the after taste. I can see why some people enjoy this item but it just wasn't for me. But I will definitely try another flavor in due time.

These pickles are like the old days of barrel pickles, when you got a pickle for a nickel. The price has changed, but the taste and flavor is still the same. I buy the sour pickles buy the gallon. They're great. Thank you!

I love pickles. When I see pickles in any store my mouth waters. So of course I had to try them. I got the full sour pickles. He wasn’t great at describing what they would taste like (I had never had sour pickles) but in his defense I don’t know how to describe them either besides sour. These things are amazing, I need someone to take them away from me. If you’re like me and you also drink pickle juice, the juice on these is especially delicious. They’re crunchy, delicious, amazing.

I bought a big batch of the sour pickles at “Pompton Day” (our town fare) they are perfectly delicious! Also tried the “new pickle” which was very different and refreshing. The sweet pickles were great too! All around great service and a great product! Definitely would buy again!

This place is overall unbelievable. It's a one of a kind noshing store right in Teaneck. They keep coming up with new recipes as far as the Pickles, Pickled Condiments, Olives and there killer product " KRELISH". It's everything you want in one. And love that they totally expanded there candy line. They now have a full line of jelly belly, fine chocolates from Ashers, Koppers chocolate & many varieties of Halvah. Let's talk Platters: they do anything from Pickles, olives & Candy. I always pre order, my platters cause on Friday it's like Platter Heaven!!!! And Leslie is always a pleasure on the phone or in person, actually all the staff is especially the guys there always with a joke and such great salesman.... I walked in for a pint of New Pickles and walked out with two big bags full of goodies. Right on Pickle Licious. Please Never Leave!!!!

6/1: Refund is on its way for the pickles, but they kept the shipping I paid. Check your previous reviews and people have complained about the taste of the sour/half sour pickles, etc. The big mystery is why you don't care about the quality. No crunch no horseradish taste, both the horseradish and hot pickles tasted the same, and the sweet ones were off. Packaging in glass is better than plastic and taste needs to be up to par. Plastic packing containers did not work and it was missing the seal on the inside under the lid to keep the pickles fresh. It only had the saran wrap around the actual plastic container. Unfortunately.5/18: Order # sent yesterday via email as requested.Update: 5/8 - I just don't understand how the pickles are not crunchy as I expected. Not sure if you do a taste test before packing the pickles or you have plastic jars of pickles ready to ship. They definitely are not crunchy at all which was my main disappointment and next would be the taste which 2 of the orders tasted practically the same. The order of sweet pickles was not so sweet, in fact they were a tinge sour. It tasted like they were old. Sorry, just giving an honest review, so you can check your stock and improve. It's just my opinion.Totally disappointed with my purchase of 3 quart size jars of horseradish sweet pickles, sweet pickles and chilli pickles that I purchased online. Not crunchy crispy at all, all of them were soft and sort of mushy like texture. I expected some kind of crunch, but nothing at all. Horseradish pickles almost tasted the same as the chilli pickles. Ughhh. Anyway, after the anticipated wait, not worth the money or shipping costs. Plus the jars are plastic not glass. Not happy one bit.

This is an update to my first review of this company. My first review I gave this company a 5 star because I was so happy to get a delivery of half sour pickles (they are very hard to find in this area). But last week the feelings changed when I realized my order of a half gallon on pickles was delayed. I then received a call from UPS stating my package was damaged and had been discarded. I immediately contacted UPS and was told the incident had been reported to the sender and they would be handling the refund for shipping back to Picklelicious. UPS told me I need do nothing more. This happened on Thursday June 1st. I then called Picklelicious and got no answer and left a message on their office voice mail which stated someone would return the call in 24 hours. I never received a call.I then went onto their site and sent them an email. No response. So this morning June 5th I called again to get no answer. I've left another message and am hopeful I get a return call before I have to call my credit card company. It's too bad. These pickles were the closest thing I could find to a half sour pickle in the area. Communication is a key to success.

Pickle Licious is definitely an equal to, in some ways better, than any NYC pickle like Guss'. Whatever style (whole, chips or spears) or flavor profile (sour, 3/4, 1/2, new, kosher, sweet, etc.), we have not tasted any pickles that were not worthy with right amount of crunch. Our favorites are the whole 3/4 sour and full sour, but that's just a taste preference. Pickle Licious has excellent cured olives which we also love. Sweet tooth? They have great handmade chocolates and other sweets. We were offered samples of whatever we asked for and the staff seemed quite helpful. The Pickle Lady might seem a bit grumpy, but not unfriendly.

Almost the best Dill Pickles out there. They just need slightly more sugar, vinegar, and a touch more garlic.

For my first time trying pickle licious’s “full sours” I bought myself a gallon and had them shipped to my home. It was a gamble but full sours are full sours, so how can you go wrong, right? Well apparently not everyone knows what a full sour actually tastes like. Full sours are much more flavorful than these are. On a scale of tangy to fully sour these are halfish sour. They aren’t terrible, they’re just not anything special. They’re actually very hard, way to crisp. Thats a glaring sign that the process of fermentation has been rushed. These needed more time left in the brine, they should be more tender and much more sour. These taste like pickles made by someone in an hurry and interested in turning a profit, not pickles patiently made by someone that truly knows and loves a full sour pickle. The Gallon jug leaked quite a bit but it was entirely encased in plastic wrap so it didn’t soak the cardboard. I’m back to buying Bubbies pickles until I find something better. Hopefully the next place that advertises a “full sour” pickle can actually deliver them.Nobody’s being hard on you, an honest review was totally called for. You really talk these up in your adverts so they should be great. I’ll tell you what else is hard to swallow, spending nearly $50. on a large jar of pickles that aren’t excellent. I’ve had supermarket brand fermented pickles that are more sour than these. It’s not an isolated instance either because after receiving the pickles I did some reading and found I’m not the only person to say that your alleged “full sours” are flat. Apparently you’ve had a change in recipe and other customers are asking for the old full sours. Up the salt content. 3/4 cup salt to a gallon of water works well to achieve full sours. Just a suggestion. These are some of the most lack luster flavor ‘full sours” I’ve ever had. Better luck next time. Pickle on.

I have been meaning to write this review for so long. I just left the store, and I have to tell you that KARLA is the most friendly, accommodating, professional, great cook you could ever meet. She makes the most spectacular hummus. I go there every week and by the plain , garlic, and sun-dried, tomato hummus along with Cerignola olives, and pickles. I used to buy pickles and olives at the farmers markets but I go to Teaneck because they have the spectacular hummus. YOU MUST GO THERE. IT IS SPECTACULAR. KARLA gets 10 stars.

Never been to the store but I order the pickles online. Kosher dills taste homemade and not factory made. Sours are sour and funky and delicious. The hot sours are my favorite and the hot and spicy olive mix is crazy good as well. If you like fermented pickles, this place does it right.
