Poor customer service fail to verify thier own work and rectify the issue
Sent certified mail a week ago no status updates since then on the tracking #. Returned to post office to ask why it hasn’t been sent and they are unsure why the postal worker never scanned the sent tracking # and only the return tracking #. Unable to remedy the issue at the site only solution presented is to call an 1-800 # to complain. Even though I presented them a physically payment receipt and stamped certified mail receipts to them.

Amazing staff that make the community shine
Came for a passport appointment which had me stressing for days. The staff were kind and simple, most working there for more than ten years. Everyone knew just what to do and it was very streamlined. Never gets busy. Was able to pay all passport fees in one simple tap on a pinpad

After years of issues with my own post office, my fiance recommended I visit this location for help with mailing out our wedding invitations as he'd had a good experience here getting his passport photo and paperwork done. I have to say, it was a great rec as the women who were working were kind, patient, and helpful with not only me, but all of the other customers who were there at the same time, and some had much more complex mail situations than my own.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXTREMELY RUDE:
I went to the post office and I barely know how to operate my own post office let alone an out of state one and I had pre paid packages I was supposed to just drop but they didn't have a drop spot marked so i didn't know where to put them. There was a long line and I didn't want to wait in line to ask where to drop off my packages so I asked the guy in front with unpaid packages if I could ask her a question and he let me in front of him and I waited for the lady at the counter to be available. I asked her where to drop off the prepaid packages and she took them and was like asked if I wanted a recipt. I said, "okay thank you" and she responded with "OH NO YOU SHOULDNT BE THANKING ME YOU CUT THE LINE" and so I told her then I didn't need the receipt and I was leaving but she told me she was already done after angering all the customers at me. She didn't hand me my recipt and I left almost in tears due to my social anxiety. This happened at 10am June 22nd 2024. I go to leave a review and I see I've apparently decided to go to the rudest post office in the area.

The most incompetent bunch of people I have ever encountered, particularly the woman with red hair. Stood there for thirty minutes total to ship two packages. Red haired lady deliberated for 25 minutes with customers whose passport request was rejected, rather than referring them back to passport requirement guidelines. She also kept calling the only other worker over for assistance with her passport issue, so for about twenty minutes, the only two workers were assisting one customer who USPS had absolutely no power to assist- which the workers knew from the beginning of their encounter. When it was finally my turn to ship, the red haired woman rang my envelope, and the incorrect price rang. Turned out it was because I mistakenly clicked hazardous items in my package. She was adamant that the envelope cost the incorrect price- even after I told her I have used that same envelope countless times, and it was ringing the wrong price. Rather than allow me to show her it was ringing the wrong price because I’d accidentally clicked hazardous materials, she tried to tell me that I couldn’t ship my item in the package I’d selected anyway, for reasons she did not explain. This made no sense because I was shipping using an “if it fits, it ships” envelope. My item fit with plenty of extra space. Ultimately after this I took my package and left. The lack of coordination and inefficiency of this staff is disgusting.

Waited 30 mins past my appointment time. Older black lady referred to me as “girl”….so unprofessional, and she is very slow working at the front. She is also very rude. She took people with appointments after me and had me waiting. I had to leave and make another appointment to receive my passport.

Very nice staff, all kind of rude miserable customers who just move into Teaneck, dont know how to conduct themselves finding fault with the staff. The staff a very professional and courteous. The problem is some of the customers that come there. They are not use to good living so they want to turn Teaneck in to a getto. This will never happen. Staff l appreciate you very much. You all are doing a wonderful job..

The Teaneck post office is the best, they are quick and efficient when dropping off your packages and there were numerous times where my package was supposed to be sent back and they figured out a way to get it to me every single time.
