I brought in my 428xi grand coupe for some maintenance and got a very detail report on all the things that needed work on. Jonathan Collins gave me the breakdown on the most important things that needed to be repaired. He was very quick to answer any email ,phone calls , and text message . He Kept me updated on my repairs and it took a week to do 6 repairs which I thought was efficient .

I recently visited BMW Tenafly due to an issue with the sliding mechanism of the captain and rear seats in my car. I went in specifically for a diagnostic on my M4, I told you guys I have a misfire in cylinder 3. That’s what the code is and reads.I asked specifically “will you be able to tell me more or are you guys just going to read the code for the $230?”I was reassured a deeper diagnostic would be done.I later get a call that says “cylinder 3 misfire we recommend you change spark plugs”I told you they were changed, replaced, and double checked again when I dropped the car off. I was told I’d get a call back…Later that day I was told you guys drove the car and cleared the car and to come pick it up.The service advisor was extremely nice, but I wasted an entire day and $230 for absolutely nothing.

I would like to begin by recognizing the exemplary customer service that Gem Garchitorena has provided to me over the last 10-13 years. During this last experience, she was responsive and attentive to my outreach and concerns as she always is. Unfortunately, dealing with the service team is less than favorable and most concerning is the level of mistrust when one has to service the vehicle and is under their possession. On December 4, 2023, I dropped off my car because it was blowing white smoke along with a whistling sound after running in park position for approximately 30 minutes. This problem perfectly fitted the profile for a letter that I received from BMW in November about a Specific Limited Warranty Extension indicating that there could be a problem with the Engine Crankcace Pressure Control Valve and if so it would be repaired free of charge. Although the bill summary indicated that they replaced the crankcase vent pipe they claimed that this particular piece was not the one specified in the notification letter. To make matter worse, they minimally applied my extended warranty since the hourly labor rate at BMW was greater than that of the extended warranty paid. This service department made me feel like I was in a trapped vacation in the Yucatan Peninsula. Will certainly have to take my business elsewhere.

Although I never purchased my X1 here, I've been bringing it for service for many years. I've had nothing but amazing service especially when working with Jonathan Collins. He is honest, always has a smile on his face and always gets back to me when I call. Because of his great attitude and friendliness, I will continue to return for future services. Thank you Jonathan for never making me wonder where to go for car service and thanks to the rest of the staff at BMW for being friendly and kind!

I rarely write negative reviews but I had such a poor experience that I feel I have to write this. I would not recommend getting a service from BMW Tenafly.I brought my X7 for a routine service. The representative who assisted me had extremely poor communication skills. I informed him of some issues that needed to be looked at on the vehicle and instead of going over the work that needed to be completed, started making assumptions as to the cause of the issues (which was false and irrelevant).I asked to speak with a manager who was not in yet. Since no manager was in, I requested to speak with another service advisor as the experience with the first representative was quickly going downhill. After waiting (excessively) for 45min to see another representative who never appeared, I left. I left my number with a receptionist for the manager to call me. Hours later, I have not heard from any manager. Clearly, customer service isn't a service they offer.

I previously never took my vehicle to the dealer to be serviced, but after an issue simply could not get diagnosed and fixed after visiting 3 different auto shops; I finally decided to take it to BMW of Tenafly. Not only was the team able to get the job expertly done, but the level of service by Jon Collins completely surpassed my expectations. I now have both of my vehicles serviced exclusively at Tenafly and simply won’t go anywhere else. My many thanks to Jon and his terrific team!

Bought the car here and been using random SAs whenever I needed service. Gem was referred to me by a friend and she was outstanding! Went in for a recall and scheduled maintenance and everything went great, from the detailed video inspections, repair and value services that needed to be done. Thank you Gem and team!

Love working with Jon Collins and it is not my first time. He is always courteous and professional. He also saved me a long wait in the waiting room by suggesting I rebook as it was clear my service would take way longer than 2 hours. He helped me book an appointment at a later date with a loaner. When I came back he was my assigned servicer again and managed the whole process perfectly. As usual everything went smoothly. Thank you Jon!

My son always takes his BMW to this service center. Their exceptional service includes thorough video diagnosis, dedicated commitment to resolving car issues no matter the time taken, and providing a complimentary loaner car during repairs. They maintain open communication, offer detailed explanations, and never proceed with repairs without your approval on process and cost. It's the sole place my son trusts for his car servicing. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of service provided at this location and highly recommend it.
