Thurnauer is an excellent school for studying music. They offer courses in many different instruments to all levels. The school is located within the JCC, and everyone is welcome regardless of faith. I love the community of students, their families, faculty, and staff. I also love that students have many opportunities to perform. This is a great school for beginners, especially if you are considering a career in music. Thurnauer is also a great school for advanced musicians who want to take their technique to the next level. 5 stars!

Warm, encouraging environment with excellent teachers that will help your child learn proper technique to play well while learning to love the music simultaneously. Combining private lessons with group learning and multiple performing opportunities helps children to enjoy learning while making friends. The school is a vibrant, supportive community of families, teachers, classes and concerts that my 3 children view the school as a home away from home.
