“I always enjoy stopping by the store and visiting with the owner while looking for holistic food, treats and grooming needs for my dogs. They also have other options for order such as pick-up and online. The communication is great with text messages for any availability changes or updates. I discovered the store after watching the Netflix movie, "Pet Fooled" and looking for a specific brand of holistic grain-free or raw food and this store had it. They have tons of options and always willing to help or guide you into finding something. It's the Whole Foods market for pets :)”
“I cannot say enough of wonderful things about the services you have provided over the last 15+ years for our many Schnauzers. We never have to worry that our crew of 4 bearded pups are comfortable, well cared for, and look amazing each and every time. Thank you for the love and pampering all these years!”
“I love this place every time I go there Marino helps me out with my budgies. He gives the best advice. He taught me how to get my budgies to trust me and to play with me. He even figured out why one of my budgies wasn’t flying treated the problem and now my budgie is flying again. What a great person he is. He really loves birds and it shows the way he treats his customers. Wish I could give this place 20 stars for excellent customer service. This place is blessed. Thank u Marino for all your help .”

“My puppy was purchased from Silver Nickel Puppies from it's previous owner and rehomed to me. I had a few questions being a new fur baby mom and decided to call the store. I spoke to Sal who was amazingly welcoming and helpful; he answered ALL my questions. He gave me amazing recommendations on how to properly train my puppy. What I loved the most, is he remembered my puppy and he truly cared for my puppies' happiness.I would highly recommend purchasing your puppy from here. I live in LI, NY and I've recommended this place to my family and friends. THANK YOU very much for taking the time to support me as a new fur baby mom.”
“Barbara and the Vetco staff are truly exceptional. From the moment we stepped into their clinic for a visit, we knew we were in for something special. Barbara's genuine love for animals shines through in everything she does. She welcomed our little fur baby into her arms with such warmth and care, treating her as if she were her own. We are deeply grateful for Barbara's nurturing spirit and the way she showers every pet with love and attention. Her constant smile is a ray of sunshine, and her heartfelt way of seeing us as 'mom and dad' fills our hearts with joy. Thank you, Barbara, for being a source of comfort and kindness, and for making each visit to Vetco a memorable and heartwarming experience."”

“Always go here for any aquatic related things - large selection - in my opinion better than the name brand places - but more importantly, there’s a guy there who REALLY knows what he’s talking about when it comes to aquatic life. The whole downstairs is dedicated to it and if you need something specific or need advice he knows exactly what you need. We were looking for an addition to our aquarium that would help with too much algae, he gave us multiple suggestions, showed us the animals, and told us which were most efficient. He was also completely right. It’s so much better to have that kind of help when you care about your pets and need advice!”

“Love this place! I have come here to get supplies for my cats for the last 3 years since I moved to the area. They deliver for you and are amazingly helpful! And they have some things unavailable in other global chain pet stores. Recently, I was running late from work and was not sure if I would be home for the delivery. They made it happen so easily, and they left at my door. Thank you all for always going above and beyond!”

“Such an amazing pet supply shop. The staff is amazing. They make the experience super easy. Whether it’s going inside or getting delivery, it has always been such a nice experience. “The store is always clean, and stocked with supplies for a variety of pets. Every member of staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the animals they cater to, and they're great advocates for animal rescue in the community.”
“They carry a good variety of pet food, supplies, and toys. They have fish, too. Catit brand products, including Lavender Pea Husk Litter, are available. Taste of the Wild cat foods, including Prey Turkey formula. Across from Shoprite grocery. Next door to Shoprite Wine and Spirits.”

“I’ve been trying to place a testimonial about the woman who grooms my Rottweiler, Zelda, and I can’t find any survey. Well I want to acknowledge Pat in grooming at The Wallington store. The others in the actual store are always very helpful when I need it.

“Love going here, they have a variety of beautiful fishes and birds and more pets for good pricing. The workers here are very friendly and always help whenever in need. Been going here for awhile and the store is always clean and has many items and resources for pets!”
“I picked up a bag of their “candied” apples at a street fair and my dog went bonkers over them. Her favorite treat ever. The ingredient statement was impressive and so is their backstory the more I learned about them. Local, pastured, organic ingredients and absence of any pesticides or other garbagey nonsense.Last weekend I stopped at their store and was further blown away by the complete product line up-from treats, to supplements for food (the detox blend is already helping with Logan’s tummy), fresh made food and even birthday cakes. While I didn’t get her name, the woman was also super helpful, passionate and knowledgeable about the products. And the store is charming, clean and generally good vibey. Check it out.”

“I try to shop local, so I stopped in for the first time recently during a stretch of severely cold whether to see whether they had jackets for our 50-pound pup. They did have a good selection, but none just right for our boy. The man helping said he would look downstairs to see if there were any more jackets down there. In the meantime, I asked the owner whether they carried prescription diet foods. The owner then took the time to ask questions about my pet and his current situation. The other employee returned with a jacket that fit well, looked great, and was priced competitively. I didn't think I would have luck with the jacket, so I was happy to get this for the cold weather. I was very surprised and even happier when the owner then threw in a $30 bag of high quality kibble to try as an alternative to the major supplier brand. This man hadn't seen me before and couldn't know whether I'd ever return again. With service and kindness like this, he can be sure that Furry Rascals is our new favorite local pet store.”
“I bought my dog here in 2020 during the pandemic. The service is great and my dog is amazing. The vet they have here is great and cares about the animals. Overall a great place for all your pet needs.”

“Been taking my pup here since he was about 8 months - my pup is 2 going on 3. let me start by saying, AARON is the best! my dog trusts him & only him! although my pup is very hyper, Aaron & his team @ Nationals know exactly how to take care of him. Every time I take my pup here he comes out looking more beautiful than he went in. So glad for my cousin introducing me to this MAN! will be taking my dog & future dogs to NATIONALS. Thank you Aaron & team!”

“LOVE THIS PLACE. EVERY MONTHS I GET EXCITED TO COME GET MY SON (MAX) HIS FOOD. THE BEST $63.00 I SPENT MONTHLY. THE GUY & THE WOMEN ARE SUPER COOL. I ASKED THEM FOR VICTOR FOOD & THEY SHOWED ME ABOUT 8/9 DIFFERENT FLAVORS. I COME FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BRONX ( GRAND CONCOURSE) AREA MONTHLY. ”
“This is the first place that was able to successfully groom my fluffy cat and remove all the dirty hair around her butt. I am so happy! Very affordable and cheaper than other places that couldn’t properly groom her. Everyone was so nice too. 10/10 recommend”

“Furry Paws has always been my go to for doggie merchandise. Today I was helping a friend looking for the booties for her dog for out in the cold and snow. The employee was so helpful showing me how they are packaged. She had various sizes for different breeds of dogs. It was listed on the package. They came in different colors made of a soft rubber and are disposable. She said she sells a lot of them for $19.99 a package. I left with a lot of information for my friend. It's up to her if she wants to get them or search online for a different style or price. I'm recommending Furry Paws if you live nearby. Save the puppies feet from pain in the ice and snow!”

“First time coming to Fish Hut and it was a great experience. They have a huge selection to choose from and the staff is extremely helpful. Pete was able to answer all of our questions about what type of fish would live peacefully together and also helped me with the questions I had about my new fresh water shrimp. Definitely a great experience and will be going back real soon!”
