What is the purpose of the condescending tone of every single employees at this post office? I’ll give it to them that they don’t discriminate- elderly, young, different races, doesn’t matter to them. They’ll just be rude for everyone that walks in here. Can’t answer a single question without giving some condescending comment. Every time I come here, I feel like I did something wrong.

It seems that the staff at this establishment pride themselves in their ability to make everyone’s day at least a little bit worse.

In my opinion, this location provides the best service I have ever received from USPS. Very friendly staff.

I'm fascinated by the amount of negative reviews. This is a post office that is consistently OPEN extended hours because all other nearby branches close earlier. They work hard and efficiently and there's always 2 people working (well at least every time I go).
For your stamp and packaged needs, they're great!

If I could give zero stars for customer service, I would.
Every time I visit the Tenafly USPS location, I’m met with the same unprofessional and downright rude behavior from an employee named AJ.
His unnecessarily condescending tone and constant nitpicking over the smallest details make every visit a nightmare. In fact, our company staff are extremely reluctant to go to this location because of his attitude.
This is in stark contrast to other nearby branches—Bergenfield, Cresskill, Leonia, Fort Lee, and Edgewater—where the staff are consistently friendly and courteous. USPS really needs to retrain their team on basic respect and customer service, because no one should leave feeling so disrespected and frustrated.

Extremely RUDE staff, had around 25 packages to drop off and literally told me they don’t have the “scanner” for that amount of packages, that I need to give them a forecast or prediction of how many packages I’m dropping off, how would I know how many items are we going to sell? And btw, if their scanner doesn’t not work for that amount of packages how are they even open to the public?

Extremely rude Clerk name PETE 05. I was here to drop off my packages 5 min before closing time. He lectured me “ Come earlier next time. We have rights to refuse customers at this time. We are closing at 4. We have to get out of here”. Dear clerk , I have rights to enter anytime during business hours. If you don’t like to work , please retire. We don’t want to listen lecture. Thanks for spending only 45 seconds to scan my 8 packages.

My friends and I both run online stores, and in the 600+ packages I have dropped off at this post office, not a single one has been misplaced, sent back, or was otherwise problematic. Comparatively, my friends have frequently run into issues when using their local post offices. The staff are all professional, and do their jobs quickly and efficiently. I hope to properly convey my thanks to them someday!!

This post office seems to go out of its way to make things more complicated. I brought a package that I wrote, refused on and left it in the post office and instead of processing it as they should have, they delivered it to my house.!

The place is nice and neat and well organized. The only thing I could say is some staff members who work there kind of have an attitude, not all. As I read the other reviews, they say the same so looks like this isn’t the first time.

Every one is correct about this place. Rude, unfriendly and unhelpful staff. They don’t want to be there, or offer any assistance with anything outside of just placing envelopes into a bin. It’s best to save yourself the dignity and just use a different location if you have the ability to do so for your mail or passport needs.
