My first time taking my King Charles cavalier to Petco Grooming. Crystal was my fur baby’s groomer and let me start by saying that this lady is extremely rude. Does not look at you when explaining what we wanted done. I specifically told her not to cut any part of his body hair except his paws and private. When I picked him up he was all chopped up even his ears. He looks awful I’m so upset extremely upset because after I told her that it looked like he had a haircut she denied it blaming the hair messy on the blow drying! Unfortunately I read the reviews late and everyone that has comment here has a problem with Crystal! Now I don’t know if I heard right that this person is also the manager?! Well she needs to go because she’s making this place look like trash! And I don’t think anybody should let her touch your baby!! Or make the other groomers look bad too!

The worst experience was done today. I had an appointment for my dog at 12 o’clock. I show up 15 probably 20 minutes a little later and the tech decides to tell me that she is leaving early that she will not be able to attend my dog that someone booked my dog on her schedule without giving her any notice so she was not able to do the service. Spoke to the manager manager also said well she is leaving in an hour so she will not be able to all in all. I believe that I am the customer and this issue should’ve been resolved more professionally. I will not be taking my business to this location anymore recommendations zero terrible customer service.

Grooming services - The first time I came here, I called the staff to inform them of my tardiness. They explained as long as I 'am there within 15 min that it should be good. I go to the store and make it exactly within 15 min, wait on the line and by the time I speak to the staff, they explain that I'm late and they can no longer take my dog for grooming. I was livid, explained my situation to the manager and "nothing" could be done since they were in high demand. I reschedule for the next morning at 8am and now the staff member who is opening was 17 minutes late. The manager managed to upgrade my service due to staff being late.The Store itself - The store itself is usually maintain neatly and the staff are usually willing to assist with anything being asked. Anything I need is usually available. My stars is for the grooming service itself, but the store can definitely get a 4.5.

Staff was very helpful. I was looking for an item that I couldn't find and a Manager came out to assist. Turned out they were completely out of it.

The store is great. The reason I’m giving this a one star is because I wanted to try the groomer Crystal since my mom had a good experience with Crystal once before. My experience was the complete opposite. As soon as I walked up, she had an attitude; very curt. She didn’t make any eye contact - her eyes were glued to the computer the whole time while she was drinking a soda. All of her answers were short - “Who’s this? What are you here for?”…That’s the way you greet new customers? Then she tells me that she’s going to change my fur baby from “short hair” to “long hair”. She didn’t tell me the price would change until I asked what’s the difference. For context, my dog is not a long-haired dog. He’s a Coton. Long hair dogs are like golden retrievers. I’ve had my dog for almost 3 years and never had a groomer change the price last minute because they considered him “long haired”. So I told her to take off the haircut, since it was gonna be an extra amount of money that I had not planned for. She had the worst attitude, rolled her eyes and after that I was done, I tried to give her a chance. I’m not gonna have somebody groom my fur baby who has a nasty attitude unprovoked. Then she tried to say that I wanted to cancel the grooming because of the price change - not at all-I tried to give her a chance even just to give him a bath. Never again.

I typically like coming here. I have used the pet self wash often. Both wash stations did not appear to be operational. Hopefully this can be fixed as it is a huge draw for me to come here for my pet needs. After arriving I noticed the shampoo bottle was almost empty and, while I bring my own finishing wash, I asked for additional shampoo from an employee. The woman explained to me that the prior customer must have used the entire bottle because she had filled it earlier. Typically everyone is smiling, friendly and helpful so I was surprised by the comment and, while she wasn’t rude, it was simply unnecessary to have that type of engagement. Hoping this location remains open and my go to for all pet needs. Cheers!

Bunch of sell outs. Petco bought out Carlstadt Animal Hospital and it's been nothing but the worst experience ever since. They got a nice pay day and never cared about the customer during the process. Just the money. Good for you guys! We've been trying to order pet medications for our dog and they keep giving pharmacies issues saying our dog is due for a check up even though we were there 2 months ago. He's now over a week past due because of them. DO NOT USE THEM ANYMORE!

Stay away from this location rude usually one register is open and long line only with unfriendly staff … Sara especially she jumps at costumes with angry attitude she wants to help but sounds so aggressive.. At the register they make mistakes to give you a correct change
