I just came back from the mall and I had to write a review about the girl that was working there because she was SUPER NICE!!! She had the right energy that build a bear needs in their store, her name is Selena and she was top tier someone needs to promote her or give her some sort of raise she sold me on two items and I agreed to sign up to be a member I LOVE HERR❤️❤️

My son and I had a great experience making a custom bear for my mom. Belle was extremely patient and kind, helping make the experience enjoyable. She also helped us with an older bear that needed some love after a few years. Thank you so much Belle!

Visited this store in the Ocean County Mall and Selina went above and beyond. Her and the other associate were incredible. I had to take a moment to do this review. There are not many times this happens sadly. Way to go Build a Bear. Hold on to these two. I think we will go out of our way to visit this location from now on.

My wife and I are soon to be first time grandparents. We went with two of our sons (soon to be uncles) to the Toms River store to buy a bear that would include the baby's recorded heartbeat as a baby shower gift for our daughter. Sydney and Violet gave us the BEST experience we've ever had in a retail store: welcoming, helpful, engaged, caring, involved, and knowledgeable about the Build-A-Bear product and every possible option. Our grandson will be born soon and the bear we bought for him today certainly won't be his last. Thank you, Sydney and Violet! We'll be back as the baby grows and will, of course, need more bears!

Went to Build-A-Bear today to get 5 bears for my family members as I’m going into basic training for the Marine Corps soon. They asked me all types of questions like which outfits they should wear based on what branch of the military I was going into and they even gave me an estimated price range for everything. The one woman stuffing my bears was super patient and talked with me and my girlfriend about the military, what I’ll be doing in there, my future, etc. The staff was straight up amazing, so thank you Dani (Store Manager) and Kaitlyn (Sales Lead). I wish that I was allowed to tip y’all.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Sydney and Violet during our Build-A-Bear experience today, which was my son's first birthday.
They both went above and beyond to make this day truly unforgettable. Having been in the hospitality industry for 25 years, I can confidently say that their exceptional efforts deserve to be recognized.

We had such an amazing experience with Kenya and the Build-A-Bear team! They went above and beyond to make my son feel so special while building his birthday bear. From the moment we walked in, they were kind, patient, and made the whole experience magical. My son left grinning from ear to ear, and it’s a memory we’ll cherish forever. Outstanding customer service in Tom’s River Ocean county mall build a bear!! I was there for my granddaughters first birthday build a bear and Kaitlyn was super wonderfully helpful! She mentioned the birthday bundle and we even got to record a message for my granddaughter’s first build a bear!!! Thank you Kaitlyn for the best of best customer service! We will be back.

Today I went to build a bear in the ocean county Tom’s river mall and was helped by Selina, she was so sweet and so bubbly and great service. She made the experience so wonderful and she had such a great personality. Loved her!!

We hosted our daughter’s birthday party here today and Violet was the best host! She was so kind and patient with our young guests. She kept the party running smoothly and made sure we all had a pleasant experience.
