I think I’m still in disbelief over what just happened. I was trying to purchase pool floats that were buy one get 150% off and when I realized I was charged full price for both the cashier called the manager over and she asked me if I wanted to have my money refunded so I assumed that she was gonna fix the price because there was a big sign right on the register saying that they were on sale She proceeded to do a return for me and give me back my money because As she said she was on break and she really wasn’t trying to work like are we kidding? I won’t be going back there, I honestly can’t believe that just happened. Who are we hiring to be managers at these stores?

I have bad experience and that's funny because she's a manager I pay 8 dollar on cash and I ask if I pay the rest on card and that girls trying to charge me, but she don't know how to do it, so she called the manager and the manager told me how much you going to pay I said I pay 8 dollar on cash so the rest on card she's told me Custumer need to say how much and doing the count,when you're supposed to be a manager. You have to be a nice with a customer, but she don't,when I ask, who is the manager, she told me I'm the manager and I'm telling her that's why you acting crazy

This particular Dollar General is located just outside my neighborhood so it's convenient for me to go to this one. However, it's very messy and not very well stocked. The employees are overworked and dragging through their day. I've had a few vent to me about working 70+ hrs a week, every new employee they higher quits within the 1st few days. I see the same 2 women employees working daily. It's quite obvious that the brunt of this store's operation is on their shoulders. They are unable to keep up with the daily tasks with it just being them. You can see that the store is taking a big hit and is becoming run down. It's a mess.. plastic on the floors, many palettes of merchandise are taking up the floors every which way you turn. Something needs to he done.
