If you are looking to purchase replacement windows and/or doors for your home...stay clear of Home Depot.A salesperson came to the house to provide an estimate. The salesperson was very nice, professional, knowledgeable...had no problems there. They were even able to match and beat a competitor's price. I was also sold on the fact that Home Depot offers a lifetime warranty, is a major company that has been around for decades, and wants your continued business...In other words, Home Depot will "do right" by me.Note: I was sold on the Simonton Windows...I went with the best they offered (no cheap/poor quality windows for me)December 2020:Day 1: I had two windows (kitchen, living room) and a sliding glass door replaced.1) the kitchen window would not fit properly. They had to order a new one, so I was instructed NOT to open the window. (great, I have a window I can't use)2) the screen door for the sliding glass door (that I paid for) was missing. I was told they would have to order it and then have it installed.After months of waiting and unreturned phone calls and after finding out that my screen door and window had been sitting in a warehouse for months!!! and no one contacted me to schedule an install, I finally had the new window and door installed....5 months later!2) the new kitchen window was defective, and the sash did not fit properly. Again, we had to order another one (#3)., that took weeks to get a response, and several months to order and schedule the install.3) The latch door on the sliding glass door broke, and I could not open it from the inside. Again, I had to open a service case and wait for someone to come and fix it. Again, that took months.4) the third window was defective and cracked shortly after it was installed. We had to order another one (#4). Again, that took months to order, then several more to schedule the install.Note: the technician/installers that Home Depot contracts with have been great up to this point5) June 26, 2023. The screen door for the sliding glass door broke, and I contacted Home Depot to put in a service request. After waiting more than 2 weeks, I called back and was told someone would contact me that day. After waiting 2 days, I called back and had to case "escalated." July 13, I received an email at 8:36pm from and technician/installer named Joe. He left his phone number in the email and told me to call him to schedule. So excited to finally hear back,from someone, I called the number (26 minutes after receiving the email). Well, Joe "scolded" me for calling before 9:00 and told me I would have to wait until tomorrow.?So wait, it is OK for you to contact me in the evening, but it is not OK for me to contact you?(FYI-no where in the email did he state to call "first thing tomorrow" or "you can call me tomorrow at ...") He simply said to call him, and so I did...why wouldn't I?It appears that once they have your $$$, you are not a priority. You have to make several phone calls and practically harass people to get anything done. You will wait weeks to hear a response and months to have anything done. I was "sold" on this great warranty and service, but I received neither.Service: Installation

they sell extended warranties on appliances, but don't waste your money. My dryer broke 2 months after I bought it and the manager told me it wasn't his problem and said samsung should take care of it. I paid 160 for the extended warranty and he said that doesn't mean anything to him.

I went to Home Depot in toms River to choose an exterior door. Several days later I was called with an appointment. Someone was due to show up between 3 and 5 PM today. They are a no-show. Thank you Home Depot for wasting my afternoon.

The worst experience I have had. I have been a long time Toms River Home Depot customer for many years. I recently purchased an appliance which went on sale days later and have been unsuccessful in getting the sale price credited to back into my account. Spoke with the Manager who told me he would look into it and would call back the next day. I never heard back from them. To make matters worse the scheduled delivery of my appliance was delayed 2 different times for driver/helper issues after confirming the delivery date and within hours of my scheduled delivery times. Resulting in lost wages for my family because I had to take 3 different days off from work in a 2 week period in order to get the appliance that I desperately needed. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP THERE! Toms River Lowes just picked up a new customer

ordered windows had them installed they didnt caulk them properly therefore have water damage from the last storm it's been 4 months and still no odybseems to want to come and recall them as they should have been in tr he beginning included so many times went to home depot 3 ymtimes..still nothing

You cant leave a bad review because a store isn't a contractor! All these 1 star reviews are just unintelligent people who don't know how to call an AC guy lol. Gonna leave a 5 star review to offset their ignorance.

I came into store to buy a battery starter. (My battery died in parking lot.) And instead of making me buy one the salesman offered to give me a jump start. He went and got permission and then gave me a jump start. Thank you STEVE !!!! Unbelievable customer service!!! Give this man a raise!!!

The employees are not that friendly. The only helpful person on staff that we have worked with is in the plumbing section. His name is and he is Shawn excellent. Should honestly be a manager.

Huge shout out to the Lowe's Toms River, NJ store for helping me keep my project on track after Home Depot's error and unwillingness to fix their mistake. Great customer comes from taking responsibility when a mistake is made and doing everything possible to fix it. Don't worry though, Lowe's picked up where you guys dropped the ball

I had the pleasure of having Matt P. help me find the items I needed Monday night. I was in and out in 15 with the new entry locks, kitchen lights & medicine cabinets. It was like having my own personal shopper ! He was friendly when I asked where I could find the locks and instead of telling me what isle I needed to go to, he walked me throughout the store helping me find all the items I needed. Then Don was kind enough to help me with self check out with a smile ! Thank you Matt & Don for helping me !!!
