I have been wearing glasses for over two decades and JC Penny optical is the best for glasses. I have tried everywhere and the lenses are always the thinnest for my prescription (which is pretty blind). I have tried Lens Crafters twice and consistently get strong night glare from their lenses and much thicker lenses. At both places I selected comparable products for the lenses, and JC Penny was so much better. JC Penny has their own lab and they do a fantastic job!! Lens Crafters is about an hour, much more expensive, and lenses are not as good. They have a pretty good frame selection at this location as well. The staff is AMAZING, very helpful getting the best price. They are also great at adjusting and fitting glasses. I would STRONGLY recommend JC Penny optical without hesitation. Only complaint is they don't have a nice selection of sun glasses frames, and only seasonally.

The women at the optical store was extremely patient with me and my very excited children. She looked up our insurance and try to find us the cheapest option. Extremely helpful.
