Mathis Plaza is a small waterfront park along the Toms River in South Toms River. It offers a nice view of the river and the area where Cedar Creek flows into the bay. The park has permanent restrooms, benches, and displays of antique military equipment like a submarine and torpedo. Visitors can sit, relax, and enjoy watching the water, birds, or storms. There is also a food truck for eats and a picnic area to bring or buy lunch.
