I am still APPALLED by how Ocean First has dealt with a fraudulent $15,000 wire which we still haven’t seen a dime of. This should not have happened and I know in other backs it would have not happened. And I also am not looking for a generic response back back on this review. I would appreciate an actual person to contact me that can actually help get this situation resolved in a timely manor otherwise I think it’s time to move on after 13 years if business together.

Eldie was fabulous. In practically no time at all she set us up with a Savings account and helped us to avoid fees on our existing checking account. She was knowledgeable and courteous.

Opened up a business account with Diane and Debra and they were amazing. They took their time, explained everything, and went above and beyond to answer my questions. It was refreshing to see people working that wanted to be there and didn't just rush you through the process. They deserve a gold star.

Love ocean first! FYI Actually I was a teller with your bank long ago when it was Collective Federal Savings and loan...Must say that the chairs the tellers are using are absurd. They are all taped up with electrical tape! That's just crazy. YOUR EMPLOYEES SHOULD HAVE BETTER THAN THAT

Even though the staff is very nice and helpful, the overall function of the bank is getting worse. 1)I did not receive notice of a CD maturity. 2) upon renewal of the CD, the new maturity date does show on the passbook, the teller gave me a handwritten note with that information. 3) The online banking site no longer show CDs maturity dates. As a result I will be reducing my banking at Ocean First and ultimately close all my accounts.

Needed to open a new estate account and also obtain a Notary Public authorization. Worked with the Branch Manager, who was very efficient and professional in treating me as a valued customer! Branch office was very clean and safe for all customers conducting business there.

Do to a possible scam, I had to close and reopen both my checking and savings accounts......and with their computer system no working well, it was a tedious task. Diane DeSchino remained professional, calm, pleasant, and easy to work with the entire time. Thank you for your help!

We closed on our house 3 weeks late and weren't notified our closing was pushed back until 4 days before we were suppose to close!!!My husband and I got our first mortgage through OceanFirst Bank and as a first-time homeowner, this was the most painful and exhausting process I have been through. I expected there to be some bumps along the road, but we hit roadblocks through every step of the process and no one communicated with us.We sent our documents multiple times because they kept misplacing them, they lied to us about timing, they put it on us to chase down the title and attorney documents to move the process along, and on top of everything, they tried to cover up their mistake in submitting our loan 3 weeks late.
