I've worked with many nursing agencies over the years and Preferred is by far the best. From the office staff to the clinical staff Preferred really cares about their nurses. They listen and immediately get to work on problem solving. The staff at preferred is always available and concerned for the needs of their nurses. The clinical staff is amazing. They work hard and will make themselves available on the assignment to be sure the nurse is comfortable with the responsibilities of that assignment. There's always someone who's willing to talk to you and get involved in the issues. Preferred respects and appreciates their nurses. There's actually a family vibe there. Whenever I have to go to the office for skills testing there's never any pressure. The facilitators are serious about what you need to know but they happily navigate you through it.I plan to remain a part of this amazing bunch of people who are Preferred Nursing

All the staff are friendly and very helpful and thorough in explaining everything. I’ve only been with them a short time but I feel like I’ve been there forever (in a good way) Lol it feels like home!

A company that truly cares for their patients and are not just a business in the health field for the profit. This company is not only wonderful with their patients but their staff. They provide the most up to date trainings so staff are receiving the highest rating of care to give to their patients. There are so many home health companies and no company beats Preferred. One word and fact, they have compassion. The staff is amazing in the office and in the field. I recommend Preferred Home Health Care of TR to all. You will not be let down!

Love my job at Preferred. For one, they pay better than other home care companies. Next, they're not constantly harassing me to pick up over time, or guilting me about not being able to find Pt coverage if I need a day off. Lastly, the clinical team is actually competent. They can actually answer medical questions instead of just saying "call the Pt's doctor". I wish I had gone with them when I originally went into home care!

I am a CHHA in the field with preferred. I completed the CHHA course through them & it was phenomenal. A great workplace to work at. Very nice people! Clean environment & Great Training!

I am an RN in the field. I love working for Preferred. They have good training. Great staff to work with. My phone isn't ringing off the hook with being called in due to me letting me know my availability and how many hours I want to work. If I pick up a shift here and there I am graciously thanked. I love working with my client. I especially love the charting. No more paper med sign offs, it's all on cub hub on my phone. You can use a computer, phone or tablet to chart. Just click and done. So much less narrative notes. I'm glad to have signed on with them.Dorothy Walker RN
