I've never had a problem with my local Sally's, until today when I went there to buy my preferred developer. There were three employees working there, yet none were at the register. After several minutes standing at the register waiting for someone to check me out, I walked over to the aisle where the employees were talking to someone ,to catch their attention. The employee (dark haired woman) said, "I'll be with you in a minute". After waiting another minute or two, I realized she was NOT helping another customer because they were discussing personal experiences, like where they grew up. THE WHOLE TIME I WAS WAITING, it was straight up personal conversation. I left and ordered my product online. I don't think I'll go back to Toms River Sally's

Disgusting customer service. Charged me for a purchase when they were supposed to be refunding me and then would only issue me one return even though I was charged twice for items I was returning. The manager fought with me I was wrong for over an hour after telling me numerous times I had to leave when I just wanted MY MONEY BACK THAT THEY STOLE then the man on tech support explained to the manager she was wrong and she finally issued me an additional refund and said she wasn’t apologizing because humans are allowed to make a mistake when I didn’t even ask for an apology. That’s fine I’ll spend hundreds of dollars on hair care somewhere else definitely not a place I won’t to contribute to keeping in business after that.

I absolutely love the team here at Sally's. They're so helpful, friendly and NEVER judgmental no matter how bad you've damaged your hair ! They also have pretty much everything you can imagine in stock.

The staff has no idea what good customer service is.Store full of people,line around the isle at the register and the cashier is having a full blown conversation with someone and decided to leave the register to go show the person an item in an isle and continues to have a conversation. The one in Point Pleasant is MUCH MUCH better.

I just bought a brand new pair of WAHL designer clippers and trimmers. They do not work at all they make a crazy sound and I’m scared to use them on clients. I called the shop it has not even been a month and they told me that they cannot take them back. So this store sells equipment that does not work yet they won’t take it back. I have been shopping here for over 10 years and I am very disappointed and I want everyone to know how they treat their loyal customers. I will definitely never shop here again and will notify all my Hairdresser friends on Facebook/Instagram as well

A lot more selection than the Sally I go to, the sales clerk was very sweet and patient. Honestly excellent costumer service. Was able to find what I was looking for :)
