Clean, clean, clean. Great customer service. A beautiful place to visit for skin care and make up. A pleasure.

Had a wonderful experience here!I was not able to get a name, unfortunately, but a woman who I see working all the time was really able to point me in the right direction. I asked her for some advice on lip products, and she told me all about her favorite brands! She went through every shade until we found the perfect one and when I used it for the first time today I loved the way it looked. She has a true passion for makeup and it showed through her performance!

I go to Kohl’s in Toms River once in a while. I went yesterday and it was such a horrible and frustrating experience that I left the store fuming. Not with the girl at the register, she was doing her job, but with the store manager “Kevin” who refused to give me his last name.
Customer service is non existent from the store manager, Kevin - I bought an Adidas sweatshirt that was in a clearance rack clearly marked ADDITIONAL 20% off clearance. It was not there by mistake. The entire rack with adidas was on clearance.
It turns out that the same sweatshirt had 2 different prices one $11.25 the other one $33 something. I grabbed both. I needed the bigger size that was marked higher and told the cashier that’s what I wanted but at the lower price. She said I could have the size I didn’t need with the lower price. I said, that’s not good, I need the larger size.
She calls the manager. ”Kevin” says absolutely not! Why not? Because that’s not the one marked $11.25 I tried to argue but I was not feeling great, just wanted to leave. So I said, fine I’ll buy the smaller size (gift it to someone) and went ahead with the sale even though I felt it was unfair. But wait, it had an additional 20% off. That’s when Kevin turned from unpleasant to nasty. He would not honor the 20% because Adidas never had a 20% off…. Hmmmm. They were all 20% off. He tried to show me by ringing the $33 dollar one but it kept coming up at $25.50. Isn’t that a bit more than 20% off!!?? I thought the price was $33 period.
I bought the $11.25 wrong size sweatshirt. I had a headache and wanted out of the store. It’s not the $2 I should have saved that’s the problem. It was the attitude, the total disregard to what was in front of my face and his. The fact that he would not acknowledge that he was wrong. The nastiness like I was a crazy woman. He kept insisting that Adidas never EVER had any additional discounts, which was obviously not true.
I didn’t get nasty or yelled even though I wanted to. I don’t know, I’m still furious at the manager. I will never ever return to Kohl’s. I know they don’t care or will even miss my business but I wanted to get it out there.

The TR Kohls is doing the best they can. Every register was opened, and the staff were amazingly polite and friendly. All this during a global pandemic a week before Christmas with some of the nastiest customers I’ve ever seen inside a store.
