I have RECORD of my child attending YOUR center. My experience was with SMART START ACADEMY. I would have let it go but since you decided to chime in an attempt to take the steam off of your establishment as if I'm delusional...... the proof is in the pudding.

We had scheduled a tour to potentially enroll our child. Upon entering the facility through the unlocked front door, I approached a glass window, behind which sat a blonde woman who briefly glanced up from her computer screen only to quickly put her head back down as if she hadn't seen me, my husband, and my child enter. We lingered in the front lobby area for a few minutes waiting to be greeted, I even stepped in front of her open office door as to present myself again. Frustrated, we decided to look around and see if anyone would bother to even stop us. We were able to roam around the entire facility seemingly unnoticed. During this time I observed a classroom of what appeared to be 8 to 10 babies around 1 year old, all in a highchair table, eating snacks, glued to a TV. NO teacher in sight. As we continued our unsupervised tour we came across a classroom of toddlers all glued to a television. It wasn't until we had made our way all the way back to the front entrance area that we were approached by someone asking if we needed help. I was so disturbed I continued to leave with my child but my husband made sure to let her know that we were scheduled for a tour but due to the complete lack of security and supervision we would be well on our way. She then proceeded to explain that it was likely a staff member that left and didn't lock the door behind herself. Completely unacceptable, after all the incidents of school intruders the safety of the children should always be maintained and this was a flagrant breech of any safety protocol they claim to have in place and immediate action should be taken to ensure the safety of the children attending this facility. I urge any parents that have their children in this facility to remove them immediately as they are not safe by any means.

I enjoy smart start academy. My 3 youngest have attended. They had a good experience there. I feel as my kids are being taken care of well. During Covid precautions are being handled well in daycare center. I am very proud that my kids have learned and have grown here. Currently my toddler is attending. Very accommodating. Thank Smart start. Also I am happy with the staff. They work well together. This is a good team.

This Facility does not care about the children. They do not ID anyone when someone picks up your child. The teachers are poorly trained & unprofessional & combative. They do not notify the parents of any incidents that happen above the face or below. The director and all personnel are prejudiced. The one teacher Nicole told me my child had eczema when I noticed she has scratched in the same place on her bottom several times. The only form of communication from the teachers is a piece of paper that goes home with your child in handwriting. Hard to read and very illegible. If you need to know what happened with your child you have to call them, they will not call you. They also are out of ratio due to STRICT GUIDELINES FROM COVID-19. Originally there were 8 to 10 kids. I found out later it was 11 kids to my child class. This facility is money hungry & the KID DOES NOT COME FIRST.. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY--
