“I have a love and hate relationship with this store. It's called five and below but me and my friend have an inside joke and we call it $70 and below. I'll go inside and buy something for myself, something for my son (he's 4), I get to the makeup section and have to buy one or two more things. And then when I go to check out, there is candy that isn't in other stores. Like pockies for example, and things similar. So I end up buying a bag of candy and by the time I get to the cash register I'm being told that I owe $65. ???So, in my head I believe that if I buy this one item for $5, this item for $3, and the list goes on, this is on sale for $2 I have to get it, this is $3 and that is $4. It all adds up! One more time. It all adds up! I always have to remember that when I go into 5 and below. And I must say that five and below has really stepped up their game! When I first went into the store, a way back when, when they first came into business. It was very much so cheap things. Toys for my son that would break within a day or two. Makeup for myself that would crumble. But I always chalk it up to, "well it was cheap". But now is a whole different story. They have amazing products. Real, regular, items that would be in any other store. But the price slashed in half! They have products that should be marked up. That should be more expensive! We need stores like Five And Below, especially in this recession! Everything is so expensive these days. Stores like this, is refreshing!”
