Westminster Nursery School has been my daughters home away from home for the last three years. She truly loved every teacher she has had from Pre-K 3-Kindergarten. It is incredible how much she has learned and grown both academically and personally. She looked forward to going to school every day!
My son started pre-k 3 this year and he had a rough time adjusting at first. His teachers were INCREDIBLY patient and even administration spent some time making him feel more comfortable. By the end of the year, he is crying thinking about leaving his teachers.
From the teachers to the administration, I highly recommend this school to anyone. We had such a great experience and will truly miss it!

I would like to share my disappointing experience with Westminster school. My grandson was potty training. His teacher initially assured me that the school would follow our routine. However, when the teacher went on leave the teachers assistant took over and expressed that she couldn’t regularly inquire about my grandson‘s needs. this seemed unreasonable, especially considering his age. The situation escalated when the teachers assistant falsely accused me of being aggressive. I was disappointed by the administrators handling of the situation, including false claims that I had instructed other parents on snack options due to my grandson‘s egg allergy. The administrators dishonesty coupled the teachers assistance. Actions led to our decision to withdraw my grandson from the school. The administrator, subsequent expressions of sadness seemed in sincere as it appeared to be motivated by financial concerns. I just want to caution others that it appears to be a culture of dishonesty among staff members. If a teacher assistant inability to engage in a conversation with a grandparent because she is sensitive. She shouldn’t be interacting with the public.

We felt this environment was judgmental and catty, not the loving nurturing place it claims to be.

My husband and I are both alumni of Westminster, and now feel so privileged to send our two children to such a wonderful school. The staff are all so kind, caring, and professional teachers. Their loving and caring mannerisms are welcoming to each and every child. Their classrooms are inviting and child friendly, with so many age appropriate activities to meet all individual children's needs. We really can’t say enough nice things about Westminster , it is truly a wonderful school and the best school to start your children on their learning careers.

I wholeheartedly recommend Westminster Nursery School to any parent seeking a nurturing and tailored early childhood education experience. Having had the privilege of sending all four of my children with distinct personalities through this exceptional preschool, I am genuinely impressed by the school's ability to cater to each child individually. Westminster Nursery School not only provided a warm and supportive environment, but also fostered an atmosphere where my children were encouraged to grow and flourish. The dedicated staff ensured that my children were more than prepared for the challenges of a full-day private kindergarten with high academic expectations. As a parent, it was incredibly gratifying to witness my children's enthusiasm for learning and their reluctance to move on from the school, a testament to the strong bonds they formed and the positive impact Westminster had on their early development. Westminster Nursery School provided everything I expected and way more than I could have imagined.

We absoultely love Westminster! My daughter attended the 2 1/2 year old program and 3 year old program. She is thriving in her 3 year old class! Teachers in the 3 year old room are amazing and have great communication with the parents. I would highly reccomend Westminster!

Just want to say that as a former preschool teacher for 30 years I continue to be impressed with the education that is provided by the staff of this school. My children attended and now all of my grandchildren attend. The structure of the curriculum is exactly what preschool children require to learn academically and to develop socially. If you are looking for your child to come home with worksheets then this is not the school for you. Children do not learn from completing worksheets but learn from structured play which is what I as an educator for public school preschool teacher utilized. My children and now grandchildren learned all the skills they needed for Kindergarten without worksheets. Their language skills learned through play developed naturally. I could go on and on but I think anyone reading this will get the point. There is no preschool free or paid that I would want my grandchildren to attend.I will truly be sad when my time as the pick up person is done!

Both of my sons went through Westminster and we have nothing but positive things to say! It is such a wonderful school, with the best early childhood educators. The teachers care so much about their children, their families, and the progress they make throughout the year. The teachers and front office staff are readily available to you through their app, and the teachers post about events happening in their classrooms. They have multiple programs available including a 2 1/2 year program, Prek3, Prek4, and kindergarten. WNS follows a curriculum that partners learning with play- which is vital to a child’s growth. Take a tour and see for your self! As they often tell you - “once you’re here, you’re a part of our family!”

Westminster is like coming home. From the very first moment my twin girls entered their PreK 3 class through their last day in PreK 4, they were welcome with nurturing and caring teachers and staff. From teachers to aids to support staff to office personnel, each member took the time to get to know our girls. Without exaggeration, my girls walked (sometimes ran) right into the classroom and forgot to give their hugs goodbye. That's how you know your child is loved and learning and having fun. From an education standpoint, they spotted one of my girls' need for additional speech support. As a Kindergarten teacher myself, I saw first-hand how my girls were MORE than prepared for Kindergarten expectations. We LOVE WNS!!!

BEWARE! If you do not have the perfect cookie cutter child or they have a slight delay, you and your child will be a “problem” for them and they may make it so your child cannot attend. In 2021 we selected Westminster Nursery for our 3 year old son. We were cherishing his very first school moments and anticipating a great experience after reading reviews and hearing about the highly rated Westminster school around town. But unfortunately we ended up having a very hurtful and extremely distressing experience because of them.As a former teacher myself, I have tons of experience with early childhood & parents, and how a teacher would communicate and interact with them. I did not get this with his teachers. My son is a sweet and very smart boy.. which they told me as well. But he is emotional and learning to regulate himself… as early childhood learners typically do in a school environment.. it’s all social-emotional growth! My son could cry easily and be very sensitive, and get frustrated with abrupt transitions. But he plays well, has fun, is empathetic, has polite manners, he’s observant.. but he just needs more support at times emotionally and may get overstimulated… so he needs a few more words to explain a transition happening, a visual schedule in a classroom (as most should have-but they did not) and a nurturing teacher to a 3 year old in this setting for the first time in their life!We did not get this at Westminster. His OT helps him cope to regulate his big feelings. She visited several times to observe him. She reported back that the teachers and classroom was lacking in basic skills. No visuals on the walls about the day and just a lot of bell ringing and yelling over children to transition them. He wasn’t even encouraged in the activities they did at times. She said he was singled out and neglected. The teachers would be flustered and didn’t give him the guidance he needed. It became very clear to me these teachers couldn’t do the normal realm of their job title. This was only a two weekday for 2 1/2 hour schedule. I’d pick him up and ask about him, but I started getting strange looks and hesitant pauses from them like they’re trying to not say something to me and then give me some generic response while making it seem like he’s an “issue”. It was rude, unprofessional, and rubbed me the wrong way. I became more uncomfortable. My son’s OT wasn’t comfortable being in his classroom either! They rubbed her the wrong way too!.. and saw how they mischaracterized him. He was frustrated with a transition that they gave no warning about, so he impulsively threw a toy down…and one time he threw himself down. He wasn’t the type to hit kids or do anything destructive. He was asensitive 3 yr old child! During this time he was diagnosed with adhd which was still being monitored because of his age. I’ve learned so much about it and he just needed supportive nurturing teachers during a transition .. which should be a given!!They proceeded to take this information and use him throwing a toy as a hazard (so we couldn’t sue them) as they misled us into a zoom meeting telling us he can no longer attend their school after Christmas!!! I was SHOCKED! I cried. His OT was on the zoom and was absolutely shocked! My son was kicked out of preschool!?? He never did anything to deserve this!! They had us go to the district to get him evaluated for a social & cognitive delay. He did not even qualify..he has no delay. We quickly signed him up for another school who EMBRACED him with love and kindness and he progressed beautifully! He helps, he shares, plays well, is sweet and empathetic, and uses calming tools or gets compassionate teachers hugs. Kids and teachers LOVE him. We didn’t deserve a school to give up on him and give us such distress.Since then, I’ve met a handful of parents upset with Westminster over their child’s needs.. It’s all about money and image at the end of the day, carefully selecting their students to give them high ratings.. but giving up on 3 and 4 yr olds who are “slightly” imperfect. Shameful.

Its school year again and we didnt hesitate on sending our Kailey back to Westminster. Everyone is very accomodating, especially to Mrs. Lagrossa(who became my childs favorite teacher) and Mrs. Anderson were very caring, pays attention to detail especially coz my child has alot of allergies, she learned a lot from them. They were able to help my child adjust because she was having a hard time staying in class, they even got one of their teachers Mrs. Nugent to assist with Kailey, she was very good too. Now she enjoys everything the school has to offer and could not wait to go to back at Westminster. Mrs. Zaragosa you have a great team of Professionals, thank you so much staff and the rest of Westminster family. God bless you all.

When we enrolled our daughters at Westminster, we didn't personally know anyone who attended - I didn't realize then, we were making one of the best choices for our girls. The 2 years they spent at Westminster went even better than we had imagined - the teachers, the staff :: they are among the best. I'm sad to say our time at Westminster has come to an end, but feel as though our girls are ready for all that lies ahead BECAUSE of their years at Westminster. Thank you, to the whole Westminster staff, we have absolutely loved & appreciated our time spent in the walls of your school.

When making the transition to WNS, we were greeted by the most wonderful and loving staff members. Little did we know at the time, what an amazing experience awaited us. WNS is a family oriented school that fosters confidence and creativity. A place where children truly learn through play. When dropping my son off each day, I felt secure in knowing that he was in a safe, organized, and nurturing environment. Upon pick up at the end of the day he was filled with excitement to share his adventures of the day. As a parent, I loved all of the communication from school to home. The monthly newsletters, conferences, back to school night, family fun night, classroom observations, and class shows. What a special place to learn and grow!
