  I had my vet do a cytology for my dog for $290 and sent to idexx to be evaluated by their pathologist. My veterinarian told me the results were inconclusive and the pathologist Emmeline Tan could not determine what the samples were and if they were malignant or benign. My vet informed me I could resubmit them for a fee of $196 and they would most likely be able to determine what the cells were. I received another call from my vet with them telling me they again could not tell what the cells of the growth were on my dog. So after close to $500 I have no result or conclusive idea what is going on my dogs growth. I called to get a good idea from the pathologist what the test stated and spoke to Christina in customer service who told me she couldn’t discuss the results with me and was very rude to me saying that I was not her client. But I believe I am a client because I paid for those expensive cytology exams to be evaluated by their laboratory so I think I would be the client and if you work in customer service why wouldn’t you try to listen to the customer that is paying for your job. Isn’t that the job of someone working in customer service? To serve the customer? I would not get my test evaluated from their lab again. They don’t seem like they are knowledgeable in their practice. I would like a refund.

  Idexx is completely incompetent. We never see or hear from our Representative, they have lost MULTIPLE samples or just not picked up our lab work and have ran test without our consent. Antech never gave us this problem, only faulty part was their machines were not compatible. Would not recommend.
