Great customer service and great rates for savings, CDs and easy friendly checking checking accounts!

Best case scenario, this "credit union" is a phishing scam of some kind--if it is not, the tech and customer service is perhaps the worst I've experienced in any business anywhere.Don't do it--whether mortgage or banking--save your time and frustration. I know the rates look enticing, but don't do it.

Worst bank ever. The bank's convoluted account closure process and excessive fees are a clear indication of their disregard for customer convenience and transparency. I strongly urge others to think twice before opening an account with this bank, as the hassle of closing it and the unexpected fees make it a regrettable choice for anyone seeking reliable and customer-friendly banking services.

This bank always always has a greeter at their front dest. She's always the first person you see when you walk in that bank and the last person when you are leaving that bank. She's absolutely amazing. Well done, North Jersey Federal Credit Union, well done.

Customer attention is good, but any business with this bank, only works with Fiancees, Married Couples or people with a Wage around 40.000$ for year.

William Crawley has to be the worst loan officer in the United States. This place is a joke of an organization. Wouldn’t surprise me if regulators shut them down soon.

This is the worst bank ever, don’t even bother opening an account, their customer service is terrible and they’ll make your life a living hell just to close the account. No wonder why this bank has more negative reviews than positive.

Did the management change? for 3 years it was flawless. I was forced to pay $30 from my bank to stop a payment because nobody cashed my check to pay for my loan that was mailed on January 20th and it is now February 7 and YES the bank confirmed with an email and a check number that is was mailed. Im hoping this will not be the situation all year.

In the 5 years I had an account at NJFCU I saw services and costumer service steadily decline. I went from recommending them to everyone, to not recommending them, to actively discouraging anyone from using them. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

I have been with NJFCU for 16 years. Coming from a single parent household and not being knowledgeable about finances I grew an interest on learning the benefits of being a member. I financed my first vehicle through them. I have since made all my immediate family members open an account. My mom opened an account for my newborn niece. My brother also has his car loan through them. Earlier this year I purchased my first home with the help of Terri from the Totowa branch.Terri basically runs the whole realestate unit on her own and has been for years. I feel it is unfair for her I definitely feel she needs to be promoted! She always answers my calls/voicemails. Every step of the way she was there. It was a nerve racking experience and having her literally hold my hand every step of the way made me feel safe! I will chose NJFCU everyday just because of Terri. If Terri ever leaves I am following her! Lol (joking). The customer service she provided and still provides is unbelievable.

I opened my account after hearing that credit unions were great for mortgage and home buying related sources. I opened my account and out a large sum savings toward my home. My account had been idle for over a year, as I also had other accounts for which I largely relied on for savings. As I began my home-buying journey, I submitted an application with this credit union and to my surprise, I finally heard back from them months later- after I'd already moved into my new home. WOW! Fast forward a year later, I decide to finally revisit this branch, close my account, and retrieve what money I'd deposited. To my surprise, I was told I would need to pay them to close out my account...oh and also, the money that was once there had been seized by the bank as "inactivity fees" for a few sporadic months. After maintaining my stance and demanding my money, I was able to get my money back in full, but only after the branch employee put on a song and dance about not being sure how to get my money and trying to give me a FIVE dollar check, as an alternative to money that was actually due to me. If you, like I and most people, don't like your money being toyed with, do not bank here.

Horrible. Don't bank here. I have been waiting for my replacement debit card for over 20 days. When I call to check the status ( called 4 x) I wait 35 minutes to be told 4 different stories ....the worst one was they were overnighting it to me. Nice fairy tale bc I'm still waiting for that. I ask to speak to a manager, no one is available. When they go out of business, it will be bc they deserved it.

Worst bank ever ? just avoid if you can. They have VERY outdated systems. Can’t spend more than $1500/day even though it’s a business account. And if you want to spend more you have to call CS which is VERY annoying and always a 45 minutes wait. This bank is more for older people, notice all the good reviews are only from older people ? no shade but they are just terrible. They need to revamp and maybe bring in new management because it’s really bad. The banking hours are also very inconvenient.
