HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had a package get delayed and I really needed it for the day it was suppose to be delivered. The package was delivered to this P.O which is down the street from my home. I called USPS customer service and they sent a request for me to pick it up today instead of waiting for it to be delivered the next day. I then called this P.O and I spoke to a female supervisor “Jacquel” (not sure how to spell her name) over the phone about my package and she did not try to help me so it seemed. Told me to call back in an hr while they “look” for the package. I called back a little over an hr later and she had an attitude and told me they haven’t found it that i should just wait for it to be delivered tomorrow and I explained to her that i really needed it today and she told me to call back in another hr. About 2 hours later I decided to go to the P.O before they closed and she gave me the same excuse as she couldn’t find it. From the first phone call at 11:58am to me showing up at 3:40pm, HOW can’t you find a package that you have to find anyways for it to be delivered the next day???? She was very nasty very rude. I did all the steps to ensure that I could pick up my package that was in that post office.

If you want to get discriminated with your race you can try this post office. Very rude workers trying to give you hard time. This is my third time experiencing the same issue.

Unfortunately this post office lacks good customer service, they don’t have enough ppl working especially around the holidays . Plus the personalities are so dry, no friendliness form the staff Except for one worker she actually talks to you ! This all starts from management which is very unprofessional! I feel like I’m entering the DMV. But not anymore changing my go to location.

The staff that helped me was lovely and efficient, BUT the manager here, a young woman with braids I don’t know her name, was so unprofessional to a couple that had a problem with their shipping address. I couldn’t believe that someone could speak to another person like that, especially in a professional setting. I, a business owner, would never allow anyone in my place of work to speak to another person like that, no matter how frustrating the situation is. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and with an unhostile demeanor. Please look into speaking to her about professionalism and controlling her temper..

If I could give “0” stars I would. Spoke to someone who would not give her name over the phone who was very rude, saying that everything I said was NOT TRUE, and kept interrupting me. I definitely did not appreciate the way she spoke to me when the entire time I was very calm and polite. She did not listen to me AT ALL and didn’t let me finish talking. This was very frustrating, and the WORST customer service I have received. I wish she would have let me talk and give her all information possible to help her with my case. Instead, I was called a liar and was disrespected. I kindly asked her twice “can I please talk and not talk over me so I can properly explain everything?” And she kept yelling “NO! NO! NO!”.I was receiving mail at my house when I moved in, I opened a PO Box at this location which has a smooth process and I had no issues. I closed the PO Box and suddenly I was not receiving mail to my house. I did start mail forwarding to the PO Box, and I signed a form the day I went in person to close the PO Box to stop forwarding mail to the PO Box. The lady who took care of me gave me the fork to fill out and told me I was ok and would start receiving mail at my home. I never received any mail after that and I filed a complaint through the website.Someone called me two days after the complaint saying “the delivery man will always deliver your mail because that is his job. Please give it a few weeks before you call us again”. At that point, I haven’t been receiving mail for about 1-1/2 months.Today I decide to call the post office as I know I have been trying to receive important documents and they’ve been sending it, yet I have not been receiving a single piece of mail and all of this happened. She said I never changed my address from the PO Box to the house when I never changed it to my PO Box, all I had was Mail Forwarding going there. Still yelled at me disrespectfully throughout the entire phone call. I was nothing but kind and polite and trying to explain things when this was the most disrespected thing ever that has happened to me.Come to find out that ALL OF MY MAIL WAS AT THIS POST OFFICE THIS WHOLE TIME. I cannot explain how frustrated and disappointed I am right now. I was told that once I signed the form to stop mail forwarding services since that was the only thing I had. She tells me that I’m suppose to fill out a form again to have my address changed from PO Box to my house because that’s just how it works. I wasn’t told this the day I went to close the P.O. Box, so now I’m getting yelled at by a disrespectful lady who didn’t even listen to me at all.

Most unprofessional post office in the country. The manager is completely disrespectful and starts screaming at CUSTOMERS when she can't solve a simple problem and can't admit that she's wrong. Crystal should be fired immediately. Now I have to take it up with the Post Master in Paterson and send in my recorded conversation with her so they can see what people are dealing with. A post office with less than 2 stars? How hard can your job be that you can't even run a simple post office correctly and everyone in town hates you?

Typical US postage. no out of the way extra service or friendliness. All business, however, nothing bad either. You drop off your mail and get stamps if you need, etc.

Totowa post office did not hold our mail when we were away despite calling them and submitting the paperwork. We got a bunch of mail in our mailboxes for the weeks we were away. Why did not even get a confirmation email saying they were holding our mail? Disappointed with their service.

I wish there was the option for zero stars.Unpleasant experience, I was just asking questions/advice on how to mail important documents and the person at the counter gave me such Attitude.I have asked kindly, I expected the same nothing more nothing less.Next time I will just go to FedEx office .

This particular post office in Totowa has the best front counter people ever!! Happy that the others retired from prior years. The new people are friendly and they get you out quickly.

I never write reviews, and am never one to start confrontation but this was unreal… I have recently moved and the apartment complex is a brand new building that doesn’t have an address in the system yet. I did change my address through USPS, and they are the only ones who do have the building address and know this is where I live. Unfortunately, that is the only mail we receive as of now. I accidentally ordered 2 packages to my family’s house (old address) with my name on it because my packages have been getting mis delivered left and right due to the whole address issue at the new place. I always track anything I order once I get a tracking number for things like this… This specific post office took it upon themselves to send my packages back to the shipper (BestBuy and a health company) without any attempt to forward my packages to my new place. I have family who worked in the postal service and they have all said that if USPS sees my name on any mail, they need to forward and send my mail to my correct and current address. I have gone into the Totowa post office twice after the packages were automatically sent back, and I have never met more rude people in my life. Both times customer service said they will forward any mail with my name on it to my new address, yet they send both packages back? Any person you ask in town about this place says the same thing.. they’re horrible.

2022 employees at this location they lock the doors because they’re the only one working and they need to take a break.Meantime we’re outside waiting.

They don't deserve a star but I need to give them one in order to leave a review, the last day we got mail was last Tuesday October 25th, today is November 4th, 2022 and up until today we haven't gotten mail at all, I called the office a few days ago and the lady who answered said that now it's taking 10 days to get mail even if is in the same stat? I didn't believe her because I have family members who work in USPS, she was lying I don't know why we aren't getting mail and it's not only my experience my neighbor has the same issue
