I went to buy an oil and filter for my car, I told them the car model and they didn't even ask me what year it was. Since I don't know about that, I took what they sold me! I spent 48 dollars. It turns out that they sold me diesel oil. When the mechanic had already opened the oil and the filter, he realized and told me that this does not work for my car. He bought another one and when I went to change everything the woman at first spoke well and then she got upset because it would work for my car. The oil was Mobil 1, it said Diesel and yet it tells me that it is good for gasoline. I put the mechanic on the phone and she said that it would work but she was going to change it anyway. They gave me an oil first that apart from the 48 dollars I had to give 8 dollars more and I told them no. They gave me one for 27 dollars, they didn't give me the filter and they gave me back 1 dollar and some coins. It means that for the 27 dollar oil they charged me 47. Apart from the very rude lady afterwards as if the money were hers! That's what happens to me for not buying it at the one on S Broad, they always serve me well there and if I need to change something they change it without complaining like this girl, the truth is that I was the one who had to be upset and talk to her rudely. Well, I had double expenses because of those irresponsible people! He still tells me that the boss told him that diesel oil was good for my gasoline car! I would like to know what would have happened if they put that on my car? Were they going to respond for the damages? Well no! I'm not going back to that store. And even less if there is that rude crazy woman who attended to me!

Before I came here I did research to see if they can help with batteries, came here and they told me I had to bring in the battery myself. Either these guys are lazy or too afraid of the cold weather to come outside and help a paying customer. I didn't bother bringing up what autozone states on their website, just left cuz they looked at me as if I was stupid

Unfortunately, I didn't even get through the front door. Usually, I don't complain much, but this really got to me. Today is snowing and I left my snow brush at home. So I Google the nearest auto store, and pops up this store. It's says it's open at 7:30 am. I get there, it's 7:39 am. Lights are on. I go to the front, doors are locked. I knock on the door to see if anyone is in there. A young lady pops her head out from the back. And shakes her head and hand as to say that store is closed. I look down, the sign with the hours are on there clearly state open at 7:30 am. I point to my watch and then point to the sign and the young lady still shook her head and hand saying it's not open. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to go to another store. Very displeased.

Staff were very friendly but the prices are outrageous! Found the exact same items at Walmart for 20% plus less.

Last night I visited that place and the person who was serving should be fired. Employees like that person do a lot of damage to businesses.

I am not of the vindictive kind of person, nor do I expect to be treated like royalty everytime I step foot through the doors of a business. That said, my experiences at this store just left me sad, not even angry.
The most recent experience was yesterday, Friday August 23rd 2024 around 8:40 pm. I was desperate for a generator battery to be charged. First, the young man tells me the battery has no room for the charger to hang on to. I go back to my truck and put bolts on. When I brought it back, acting like a "princess", he said "oh no, this battery is leaking, it is very acidic", because it had a little bit of water on it from my cooler. I explained to him and his co-worker that I had it partially charged at another Autozone store a few 100 miles away and it is perfectly fine. They both were on the same page to refuse me.
Long story short, they refused to charge it, seemingly having fun just to see me very inconvenienced. Before leaving, I told them that I would be embarassed if I were them.
Then the other negative experiences :
"Holly" vaping behind the counter on a busy Saturday afternoon, bringing me oil containers for gazoline engine while I explicitely asked for diesel engine oil, having an arrogant attitude when I pointed out her mistake, having rude manners when I wanted to check that she is looking up the right vehicle on her screen.... Another guy tells me with full confidence "your diesel truck has only 1 fuel filter".....etc.
I really feel sorry for the folks at this Autozone store. They seem to be enduring life and just faking, instead of trying to have a positive contribution to it with as much integrity as possible, so that the positive energy they send out there will come back to them.
Is it true that everybody born after 1984 is worthless ?. My boss , not long ago, confided to me that he hires nobody under the age of 40 yo.

I only left a 4-star rating because my initial experience was not great. The first employee who helped me seemed reluctant and even asked if I had an uncle or brother to assist, which I didn't at the time being. However, when I returned a second time, the manager, Lamont (apologies if I didn't spell that correctly), went above and beyond to assist me. He personally helped connect my new battery, for which I am very grateful. Thank you, Lamont, for your exceptional service.
