Had a silk press done a while ago. Wasn’t even like silk- let alone pressed. Hair stayed flat only for a few days. The person that did my hair also burned me a couple of times.

I might as well right a review since I’ve been a client for about 2 years now!! I came to IHI after being at a different salon where my locs were started! My hair was dry, brittle and broken off! The stylist who started my locs did not take care of them and she twisted my soft, fine texture waaay too tight, leaving me with a bunch of loose hair where the hair was growing back from being broken off! I essentially had bald spots that had grown out by the time I got to Diane! From the 1st service I knew Diane was my forever loctician! She WASHED my hair, deep conditioned, gave me clear parts and locksmithed my locs! They were so crisp! My hair was just past my ears but now they sit past my collarbone! I’ve had the pleasure of 2 other ladies doing my locs and the service is the same TOP NOTCH quality! Thank y’all so much for saving and caring for my locs! I’m so proud of them now!! My fb handle is my name in case anyone thinks this is a fake review!! ?

The service was stellar, from the initial consultation, the shampoo/deep conditioning and especially the braiding (done with gentleness). The salon staff was friendly, professional and clearly “In His Image”! I really appreciated the overall experience and left feeling relaxed, pampered and confident that I had found the perfect hair care professional in Ms. Michelle.

I’m disgusted by whoever running this business. I booked an appointment and specifically asked for my hair to be trimmed. I showed up, the young lady doesn’t even specialize in trimming hair. I wasted 30 mins driving to the shop for NOTHING! I walked in, greeted everyone and they were all silent minus ONE.Unprofessional! Don’t spend your money go elsewhere!

Bree was the very best. I had not retwisted my hair in about 4 months but she was so gentle it didn't hurt at all (I am tender headed). She is highly skilled, knowledgeable and pleasant. If you're around and need your locs done you should really visit this store especially if you are tender headed
