Stopped in with our two grandsons 3 and 8 for lunch. The place smelled like sewage and on the dirty side. Tried to order chicken tenders off the kids menu but was told they where out of them that I would have to order the adult size which was $16+ dollars. I did happen to see they had them in the appetizer section for $8 for 3 tenders so we ordered them. I ordered a 1/2 lb cheese burger deluxe, with a side of mayo. When I received my order the first thing I noticed was the Mayo packets she gave me were swollen and when I opened I could tell they were expired. The mustard on the table had separate and no matter how hard you shook it only a watery mess came out. When I opened the bun to put on the tomato I noticed the burger was very thin. The real issue was when I took a bite. The burger was so hard, crusted, over cooked and dried. My husband called the owner who was the only waitress over. We told her it was way over cooked. She looked at it walked over to the counter yelled to the man in the back that I am complaining it's over cooked. I thought they were making me a new burger, the rest of may family continued to eat their French toast and the chicken tenders which my grandson said tasted funny. I ran to the bathroom while waiting and I turned the water on to wash my hands it came out brown. I had never seen that before. I let it run for a few minutes but it remained brown. I didn't end up even washing my hands. When I got back to the table still no burger just the nasty one still sitting there. Then the woman comes over and hands me a to go box and said it's to take my burger home in. I told her I'm not taking that home it's over cooked. She said well that's how we cook them. And I said well I can't eat that. And she yelled "THEN DON'T EAT IT!" This has got to be the worst place I've every been in to eat and the rudest owner and service.Ps. Owner responded to this review that I wanted a free meal. I never asked to have it removed from my bill. We simple paid and did not leave her a tip being she was our waitress.

Have become friends with owners who are a very nice Greek couple. Breakfast is great with healthy portions. Sausage is excellent, extra crispy home fries, coffee is good too! Love the authentic railcar diner interior. A must stop!

So quaint and took me back in time. It's nice to find a piece of the past in this ever growing progressive mess of a country.

Nostalgic with awesome burgers! The onion rings are the best and so is the service. Visit this place for a quick bite and go back in time!

Place is dirty and filthy. The older lady was rude and said they are only selling breakfast and they are open until 3Dont waste your time. Owners get mad and say things if you decide to leave. The smell was overpowering smell of sewer because bathrooms are filthy.

Cute retro diner. Was here pre Covid and was good. Heard it's new owners. Very nice people. We went for breakfast and it was delicious. Left feeling satisfied but not overstuffed which was perfect. Clean and staff super friendly. Told my husband want to go back and try a burger and old fashioned milkshake!

Called an order in for a four-man crew on a construction site, they said give us 35 minutes. Went there in 40 minutes and had to wait another 15. Total cost for two double cheeseburgers two orders of fries, one turkey club and one plain cheesesteak was $86! Took the receipt back up there to make sure that there was no mistake and explain to us how one double cheeseburger is $21.95 by itself without lettuce, tomato onion, and it is just a burger! Food was just shy of mediocre at best. Getting the explanation on cost for a double cheeseburger was extremely rude from both owners. Having to wait almost a full hour when there was only one table in the restaurant when we walked in was ridiculous! I would highly recommend avoiding!

You have to buy $10 minimum of food just to use the bathroom which is understandable but it was how it was said. Not very nice service considering we did buy something. Tried to charge per person just to use the bathroom.

Saw this place on the way down to the shore. Stop back in on a Sunday, was excited to try a new diner. We don't even sit down and the waitress tells us they shut everything down early. The owner comes out and tells us he's only serving eggs nothing us. We left. Your hours say 7-3, not 7 till we don't want to serve anymore.

Very fresh & generous berries on a hot waffle but I asked for my egg (or bacon) on the side of my sandwich (I have a vegetarian mother and wanted to share with her) and they refused to accommodate. The chef literally came out to tell me NO! I felt like a Seinfeld episode or hidden cameras.

Stopped with my sons on our way to Wildwood. I discovered that this humble diner makes the best crabmeat sandwich I've ever had. Blows away any fancy seafood joint.

What happened to our little gem? Head waitress is a hot mess. Complaining about the lack of help and berating another waitress in front of patrons. Head waitress took our order, but we knew it would be wrong. She was so disorganized. Our order was wrong and even came out in duplicates. Food was cold and so over priced. Won't be back!!
