Once again I go in and there’s three people at the desk well actually four this time for the Wood department. A man was on the computer taking a test and they said to him hey go help her get her wood… This is a man from another department trying to take a test. He has no idea what I’m looking for, but he gladly helps me. His name is TJ… when I guess the woodworkers came back from their break or lunch TJ asked the one to help him which he gladly did but if you expect help from that front desk, you’re not gonna get much it’s very upsetting. I am handicap and don’t appreciate people just staring at you and not moving forward to get help. The cashier is the one who got me the help and I appreciate that, but the others just sit there and stare… you obviously need better management. Customer service is not a priority and I mean NOT a priority.

I recently brought in my lawn mower—still under warranty—after receiving a reference number from Lowe’s customer service. When I arrived at the Turnersville, NJ store, Peg at the service desk was absolutely incredible. She was warm, caring, and genuinely went above and beyond to help me.
Highlights of my visit:
Peg immediately sprang into action—placing multiple radio announcements, coordinating with other associates, and even tracking down Jeff’s pager when initial calls went unanswered.
Charles, the lawn-care manager, was proactive and attentive. He processed my replacement order without hesitation—until it came time for the manager override.
That’s when things went sideways. Jeff, the assistant store manager responsible for approval, was on break—and I ended up waiting a full 1½ hours for him to return. Meanwhile:
Three radio announcements were made—each saying he’d just clocked in, but he didn’t materialize.
Finally, after Peg found Jeff’s pager and personally contacted him, he showed up within just two minutes.
Unfortunately, that long delay overshadowed what was otherwise an excellent experience. While Peg and Charles demonstrated exceptional customer service, the delay in managerial oversight was frustrating and unnecessary.
In summary:
👍 Exceptional staff: Peg and Charles handled everything expertly—friendly, efficient, and solution-oriented.
👎 Process failure: The extended wait for Jeff’s override approval was unreasonable and strained the overall experience.
I want to thank Peg and Charles for their dedication. I sincerely hope Lowe’s addresses this kind of operational gap to ensure timely service in the future.

When you go in and look for someone to help you, it almost seems like a chore for them… some customer service is wonderful and other is very poor

I was told by a Home Depot employee in the plumbing department that I should purchase my hose bib sill cocks from Lowe's because they carry a much better product, so I purchased two today.

Great place have a lot of stuff in stock that needed and the staff was very helpful getting stuff off the shelves the top shelves of course because nothing I ever need is on a normal Shelf

Went here a few years ago because home depot pissed me off, never looked back, helpful staff, h depot Staff are afraid of being bothered by customers they flee the scene when you try to approach them for help
