“I held my girlfriend’s 30th birthday party at choppers cause we knew we wanted to do a fun activity with family and friends. I spoke with Dom a month in advance to let him know my plans to invite around 40 people and bring food and drinks. He was really helpful and accommodating while answering my million questions. The venue is large and the staff reserved a spot towards the back, away from all the other guests. Having our own dedicated refrigerators For drinks and a birthday cake was a convenience that I didn’t know I needed.The coaches themselves were friendly and knew how to wrangle in the crowd of (partially drunk) people. All in all, I would definitely come back and host any type of event here in the future!”
“From the moment I messaged April to the very last email after our ceremony, it was the best experience! We chose to have an elopement ceremony with just our two closest friends and our boys but it was so much more than that. The property is gorgeous and there are several different options for where you want to have your ceremony. Even though the snow was still around for our special day, they worked every hard to make sure everything was perfect! My husband and I felt so special and all our needs were met and our expectations exceeded. Our day was perfect and beautiful and we cannot recommend The Winding Woods Venue enough! “This is a small auditorium perfect for the show that we were there for. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The auditorium needs updates. The carpets are old and dirty. The ceiling had holes in it. The space between seating rows is very tight.”
“We rented out Clique Socially for my step-daughter’s sweet 16 party. Everything turned out great. All of the tables and chairs were in great condition and the kitchen area was nice and well kept. We had about 50 people and still had enough space for a backdrop and dance floor.
The owner was great with communication and make everything super easy. She even went above and beyond in trying to help us find a big birthday number when the one ordered didn’t light up.
I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to hold an event.”
“We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and joyful reception! From the moment we walked in, everything felt magical. The venue looked stunning, and the attention to detail was impeccable.
Kara has been an absolute lifesaver with all the planning and organizing for the event—she's great at helping coordinate everything and keeping all the details in check so nothing falls through the cracks. She's also so quick to answer emails, which has made communication seamless and kept everything moving forward without delays. And a huge thank you to Debbie and the entire staff—they were truly amazing! They were professional, warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt welcome and cared for. Debbie personally checked in with us multiple times and made sure everything ran smoothly. Their energy and kindness made the whole evening feel effortless and special.
The food was outstanding—both in taste and presentation. Every dish was absolutely delicious, beautifully plated, and looked almost too pretty to eat! The flavors were incredible, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the meal.
This reception exceeded all our expectations and helped make our wedding day absolutely unforgettable. We highly recommend this venue and especially Debbie and her wonderful team to anyone planning their big day. Thank you for making our celebration so perfect!”
“This review is long overdue, but we literally can't stop talking about how much we loved our June 2025 wedding at Scotland Run!! We had the most amazing experience from start to finish. The coordinators, the grounds, the service, and oh my goodness- the FOOD!!! Our guests continue to talk about how it was the best food they've ever experienced at a wedding. Working with Scotland Run was easy and enjoyable, and they went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect (huge compliment coming from a very Type-A bride). “Celebrated my daughter's quinceanera at Collingswood Grand Ballroom in October. What an amazing experience it was! Paula was incredible to work with, made the day feel relaxed and jumped in to help without hesitation. She felt like family! Her team was also pleasant and great to work with.
One thing that really stood out to me and said a lot about Paula and her team - my decorator was not the nicest to them, unfortunately, but at the end of the night, I found Paula and her team folding the decorator's decorative napkins, placing it in a bin ready for pick up. They could've very easily left it all out for the decorator to pack on her own, instead, they took the high road and jumped in to help before the decorator even arrived back on site to pack up her own items. This left a lasting impression and says a lot about the character of the team at Collingswood Grand Ballroom.
I'd recommend Collingswood Grand Ballroom and Paula to everyone!”
“My family and I lost our mother in March 2024 and due to a series of unfortunate events, we did not have a memorial right away. We decided to have a Celebration of Life and in our search for a venue we came across Embellish Events. From start to finish the communication, empathy, compassion, multiple efforts to accommodate each and every one of our requests was nothing short of amazing! The entire staff was amazing! To top it off, the venue is absolutely stunning!! I’m still in awe at how amazing my mom’s event turned out! Thank you Andrea and staff for going above and beyond for us!! I would not hesitate to recommend Embellish for any and all of your events!!”
“We went there for a wedding, so we were limited to the choices of our host. The grounds were nice and the food at the cocktail hour was amazing. We are vegetarian, so we were provided with eggplant parm instead of the buffet. The Eggplant was just OK as were the desserts.”
“The Food and service were excellent. We started off with the Long Hots, done perfectly, then I had French Onion Soup and my wife had Cesar Salad. Great choice. Moving on to dinner, my WIfe had the Lobster Ravioli and I had the Veal Chop Parm. Everything was great”
“Had my wedding here and it went wonderfully! Remi, the one who helped us rent the building, was wonderful, very easy to talk to, and I was able to message her with any issues in advance.
The building itself was great and fit around 75 people comfortably. They also recently got a chair lift and we were able to use it for our elderly guests to go upstairs. (There was a worker for the building there that helped control it.)
They do not have assigned caterers (which was great for us since we wanted local cultural food.)
My only small gripe was that it was pretty hot during the event because the AC was brought down since it was directed towards a specific table and they were getting too cold. (However, we didn't ask if the AC could be pointed away from the tables. So this potentially isn't an actual issue. The night was so busy, it didn't cross our minds to ask!)
Besides that small gripe, the event went great & the person working that night helped us a lot.
If you'd like a small, yet cozy event, I'd highly recommend this venue!”
“Public skate was well stocked. Music was nice. Staff was young but friendly. Not all services are open at once.Only real complaint was that: we stopped to watch a roller blade hockey game that was playing and it smelled like a dorm room. But that's like saying water is wet.11/10”
“You MUST book your event here! Suite105 is such an elegant space to have an event. My fiancé and I booked this space for our baby shower. Ms. Sharita and Iycis were such a pleasant team to work with and assist us throughout the event. It was a clean and well kept facility, kitchen space , food set up space, and restroom. I will definitely love to have another event there!”
“Comfortable theatre and great for a matinee or another discounted price. Going at night or weekends are just too expensive. I like popcorn and a soda too so prime time for one is around $30. A little more for 3-D or other special showings. Matinee price for the same is about $20-$25. I love the movies especially in 3D surround sound!!

“We rented the hall and had our event catered by the deli just beyond the baseball field. The hall was very clean, friendly workers, freedom to set up the room as conveniently as we needed. The room temperature was comfortable. It was a pleasure all the way around.”

“First time here. Was quite surprised at how casual a setting it was. People drinking coffee and having a doughnut during service, man in bare feet, a little dog in a coach, Pastor in jeans like his congregants. Most of all we met a couple people who were very nice. No, most of all the Pastor gave a beautiful sermon. This was a fuve star morning in Church. .”
