Al and his team are fantastic. They're honest, they do quality work quickly and have very fair prices. I have a 2011 Nissan that had a hand full of issues and needed tires. I can tell that the work was done with care and my car drives great now. Al gave me honest feedback about what I needed replaced for safety and efficiency and what might be expensive fixes that were up to me. I usually dread going to auto shops but it was refreshing to go somewhere that doesn't upsell everything and anything. It was a honestly a pleasant experience, especially because Al is a great guy.

Excellent service! We've never been disappointed at A&J. The only problem is getting an appointment because they are so understandably busy.A few weeks ago I drove my husband over to pick up his car. My turn signal needed to be replaced so I asked to make an appointment. They offered to do it right then! It only took 10-15 minutes. The young man who did the repair was very pleasant. Hopefully he will be working there for decades to come (or at least until I stop driving).

Had my car’s oil changed here. I’m not knowledgeable on cars at all, but the staff seemed friendly and was able to accommodate my request for a same day appointment. Unfortunately, after I left the business I noticed that the original lug nuts to my tires that were kept in the glove compartment (I lease my car and the dealership put special ones on my tires so they’re not easily stolen I think?) were missing. I presume the mechanic who worked on my car stole them to sell for easy money. Now when I return my car after the lease is up, I’m sure I will have to reimburse the dealership for these. It’s unfortunate because otherwise everything was good about the service and staff, but I can’t return to or recommend a business that allows employees to steal from customers. Will not be returning.

I trust Al with my life. He’s taken care of my beloved 1999 Toyota Corolla, my hot rod, for far longer than it should have lasted. Al and his team offer the best service in NJ. If you want you car taken care of the RIGHT way, you have to bring your car to A&J
