I went into ConnectOne Bank on Morris Ave in Union so frustrated because I was trying set up Zelle to my business account. I was next in line and the banking rep, Sonia asked how she could be of help. She was amazing, patient, professional and knowledgeable. She immediately made me feel at ease. She went above and beyond to help me. This is truly client satisfction and she should be highly commended for how competent and professional she is. Thank you so much Sonia!!!

My family has been a customer of Union Center National Bank, which is now ConnectOne for over 40 years. I am 64 years of age, and this is what I have had to endure. My father passed away and I had inherited an estate account, his properties and businesses which were attached to my accounts at this bank, which is why I continued to do business here.The bank wanted to close the account because it has been opened for too long. They closed the account and had a check made out for the account that they closed, so I could not cash it. It was very unprofessional, and I had to wait for the branch supervisor to contact me and put it in one of my other accounts. After that, I got two more letters stating that they no longer want my business.The branch manager Tina Cervone was giving me issues from when she first started being a manager at the union branch.They want me to close my accounts within 30 days. I feel that ConnectOne has lost their customer service ways and just treats us like another number. They no longer have that human touch and personal service that the Union Center National Bank used to give to my family and I. If you are looking for that type of personable service, you will be greatly disappointed dealing with ConnectOne.What's sad is I felt that if I kept the distance from Tina maybe everything would work out by dealing with other branches or staff, but it still did not work. I felt that she targeted me.

There's a reason why this Bank has only three stars. I walked into the branch to cash a check and wasn't even greeted until I started looking around like if I was crazy for someone to help me. I'm not a customer of the bank, and when I asked what was the process to cash a check the man told me that they do not cash checks.He said it's a company-wide policy.I don't care about any other services that they might offer but if I can't cash a check that was given to me drawn on the bank then what's the purpose of getting any type of services from this place that can't even service non-customers.Well regardless, I'm never going back to them and I'm telling anybody who pays you with a check from them to send me zelle instead.By the way, use the Santander Bank branch located on Chestnut Street, or any other sense in their branch. They offer zero checking account fees when you use your debit card at least once a month.

I have tried my best to be patient but the service in this branch is the worst. The turnover is ridiculous, everytime I turn around you have to get to know someone else. Stop changing staff! The last manager and some of the tellers there were great but they’re not even there anymore.

Seriously, I understand that there is no in bank services because of COVID-19. But for the love of God, have both of your drive up windows available. I just spent over 20 minutes waiting at the SINGLE drive up window. I finally cut my losses and left with still 2 vehicles ahead of me.

My family has been a valued customer here for 23 years. I work an 8am-5pm job and have to travel on weekends for my work as it only leaves time for me to use the drive up window. I went to today for a blank check because I did not have any and it was for a very important need. The workers at the Chestnut Street would not supply me with a check....not to mention it takes my payroll checks over 72 hours to clear. I had my debit card, license and many other forms of ID as proof who I was but they will refused. They had the nerve to tell me to drive to Madison or Morristown which takes 45 minutes to get it...I would not have made it in time even if I did. This is poor customer service and I am disgusted with the bank as a whole alone but specifically the customer service at this location. I guess this bank is money hungry and will do whatever they can to hoard other's money as they make is almost impossible for a professional in the work force to manage their money properly as any other banks value their customers and meets their needs. This bank disgusts me...I can go on about the many other issues I have had. I will be sure to tell others my 'valued' opinion if they are ever thinking about opening an account with this small-town bank.
