I was assisted by an African American employee who refused to take my brand new Tom Ford optical frame. I decided to call another Costco and the person on the phone explained to me all details and told me that I was very welcome to visit that location. Awful customer service. The situation was so absurd that I felt racially profiled.

Would like the folks here especially the lady I saw today to cool down the attitude a notch. Your job is not to prove me wrong. Suggest focusing on customer service and finding ways to be somewhat helpful or atleast human.

I have never had a problem with my glasses until just a few weeks ago. I had 2 pair of glasses filled. My everyday, distance glasses were not correct. I believe it may have been a physician's error, but I now have to go back to the eye doc to re-check. However, my computer glasses were all wrong. The numbers (prescription) were inserted incorrectly, plus, the bifocals in my regular glasses were so small that I was unable to read anything! I may have to re-think of going elsewhere.

I had a wonderful experience at Costco optical. Tom was very helpful and considerate. He made great suggestions about getting computer glasses and was helpful when the frame showed peeling.

We go to our regular eye doctor every year and just provide the prescription to Costco optical. We've been doing this for years. However, we tried going to Target earlier this year just to try --- Never again! Their glasses are cheaply made even the branded ones, so every time the glasses break, we have to pay $25. We'll stay with Costco optical. Michael & his colleague were very knowledgeable and helpful from our last visit with my son. He's so happy with his glasses where we got a $50 off for two. Great experience.

I was delighted when I bought two pairs of glasses five months ago. However, as time passed, my vision worsened. A visit to the optometrist revealed that Costco had made the glasses incorrectly, I went back to cosco and the costumer service was great and they ordered a new pair of glasses.

First of all, this Costco location doesn't sell beer, wine or liquor. That's due to outdated, protectionist, anti-consumer New Jersey State law. (While it's understandable that the owners of small liquor stores would worry about their businesses, a look at California shows that independent alcohol retailers still thrive regardless of competition.)Otherwise, this Costco offers all the benefits of any other location, a great variety of tasting samples and occasionally unexpected surprise discounts, at least if you haven't looked at their most recent circular. Of course, some values are better than others, so it still pays to do your homework around such issues as cost-per-unit calculations. (Yes, I am a nerd.)The staff has been pleasant when approached politely with an issue, and I've always had my concerns addressed in a timely manner. (Remember, they're people, too!) My one minor gripe is that the pizza department hasn't answered the phone when I've tried to call in an order, but I also recognize that they're extra busy and likely understaffed. Still, my kids love the pizza, and it's such a good price that the wait ends up being a small inconvenience. (See, small, independent pizzerias are still thriving in New Jersey despite the competition! And there are many other local pizzerias I count as my favorites and still patronize!)

If i had sn opinion for 0 stars it would be my choice. Horrible customer service. I have my membership for many years and i still insist in doing my eye glasses at this location. After today that’s it. I refuse to be treated so bad while paying for service that although is cheaper it still a lot if money. Either way they font have enough staff for the amount of people and the little staff is all stressed out dont care how they talk to you and give you wrong information just to keep the line moving. Not worth the savings ?

I come into tire shop to try to do some work.on my car and I had very helpful guy, SEYMOUR, if anyone need help this is your guy, not only help but very knowledgeable of his trade, but most importantly very focused and willing to help and explain on all options we had. This is the worst Costco I have ever been in. The employees screaming and yelling across the aisles to one another. The lunatic employees screaming at the customers was a sight to see. People pushing and shoving. Running us down to get to the eggs. It was like a war zone in a 3rd world country. I will NEVER go to this dump again. The behavior from all around is despicable! Union, NJ is officially a DUMP and Costco adds to the "ambiance"!

Garbage employees. Had this entitled black lady at the register, went out of her way to be classic Jersey trash. Entitled, sarcastic, enthusiastic to talk sh*t, quick to snap back. Management could care less- more garbage humans. Went all the way to corporate with it and im waiting for the store manager to hit me back. Been 8 months. If u got problems with an employee here jus shut them down on the spot cus their management isnt going to do anything and they know it. the management is probably in in on it. They must have orientations teaching a store culture of being the trashiest humans in a civilized country.

Came in last night, no crazy crowds amen! Got a hot dog combo- slapped. Tried to locate the elusive suja immunity shots to no avail- sometimes they're fully stocked and other times nowhere to be found. Also picked up some Dave's killer bread. I think Wednesday nights are the time to go if you want to avoid the crowd and still have plenty of of fresh groceries available.
