“It's a shame that all GNCs around me have closed down, so I was really excited to see this location at the Mills Mall. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by an associate Li who asked if I was looking for something specific. I had informed him I was just browsing around. Eventually I did come up with some questions that Li was very knowledgeable about, and everything I picked up was followed by some wonderful insight from this associate. I think GNC is a wonderful company, but customer service like this is why I would go out of my way to come back. Highly recommend”

Additionally, he issued me a refund and replaced the product. Stellar job correcting an error. I edited my review because I was so satisfied with how It was handled. “The Whole foods is like any other whole foods, but it is a really great place to purchase healthy foods to cook a meal or to get prepared foods. On one night while visiting we got vegetables and made a soup at our Airbnb. We got some packaged meals before before taking a flight on another night. The salad was good, but a sandwich that I got on ciabatta with turkey and cheese was not good. The bread was already pretty dry. But overall you get really good quality as Whole foods.”

“I live in New York City but work and also belong to a gym in the Short Hills, NJ area. Pro Elite Nutrition ("PEN") In Maplewood is simply the best store of its kind. This Nutritional Supplement Store is the BEST PLACE that I have encountered for ONE STOP SHOPPING. Pro Elite Nutrition has a broad selection of nutritional products and brands that you often would only find by patronizing several different stores and also searching online. You can find some great products which are not so easy to find in stock even in nationally branded stores. The customer service is attentive, highly personal and friendly. This place is clearly interested in making its money off return customers over the long haul. I highly recommend anyone who is serious about their health and fitness or bodybuilding patronize this wonderful and excellent establishment. Once you do, I have no doubt that you will return. This places deserves 5 STARS and 5 HEARTS. I go out of my way to buy my supplements directly from Pro-Elite Nutrition because it is better and actually more efficient option than searching online for what I need. And if for some reason PEN does not have what you need, just talk to Maria and tell her what you want or need. Her knowledge of and relationships in the nutritional supplement business are excellent. “I have been part of other food coops in Brooklyn. Yup, that one that is often mocked in the NYT. ( You can mock it but they built a multimillion dollar business so mock it all you want the hippies built a sustainable model for a grocery store with lots of good organic options.) Thirty years ago people thought we all joined a cult in these food coops. Yup that's right. Usually you join a food coop group with a work commitment to keep the project going, then you get a box of veggies or groceries weekly or so. Fast forward to the present many things food related are a club of sorts. Turns out its not so crazy to join a group and get special food needs met and its also not so crazy to work a bit for it. Anyways Purple Dragon is a food coop, like a buying club, not so much a CSA or community supported agriculture. Although i could be wrong... correct me please. I have been on and off part of this group for 5 years. When i am part of it, I like the affordable box of veggies. There is a good amount of fruit, salad items and veggies to cook. When i come off the subscription its mainly when I cook less in the summer or when i go out of town. The cons. They often include this crazy handout that is crammed with info which i dont read. My eyes are pretty bad. Sometimes you get rutabaga... not my favorite. Also ground cherries are weird. You only get what they give you. This could be a con or a pro. I dont mind being assigned my veggies and fruit but sometimes i do want to buy asian veggies. The pros. Great lettuce. Great organic produce. Often it was boston bib. And often its organic romaine. Great tomatoes and organic bananas that taste amazing. They have it in many towns in the central NJ area like South Orange snd Maplewood.”

“I went one evening, and I was greeted with a smile and ppl who wanted to be at work. The smile seemed sincere and not forced. The first night, I had the pleasure of meeting the ladies, I went back the next day to make sure the energy was the same, and it was. The fellas gave me the same energy, the same big welcoming smile and a greeting when I walked in. The service was speedy and polite, I filled out the survey from my first visit and downloaded the app, and gained rewards. They also acknowledged my $1 off from my first survey. I enjoyed the speedy service each time. I ordered by 3:08 and eqs out by 3:12 what more could I ask for. Patience isn't something I have, but I'm working on it. With service like this, it will take some time. I'm so happy there's a smoothie place near me open after 5 pm that's hard to find, and it's good with good service. If you're in the area and looking for a real fruit smoothie, look no further ‼️”

“Just leaving here-was very surprised there weren't already reviews on this place however, it's all good since that's what I'm here for (lol)!! In any case, I called here earlier to see if they had a particular protein powder I was looking for. I usually go to "Vitamin Shop", however they didn't have the flavor I was looking for and decided to give this place a shot. The gentleman on the phone was very friendly in checking to make sure they had what I was looking for-and of course they did. Once I got there, the person working there whose name was "Christopher" was helping another customer and upon observing, was very helpful in giving useful information to another gentleman who seemed like he was taking protein for the first time. After he was done, I asked him about the product I was looking for and he automatically remembered me from calling. Afterwards, he completed my order and signed me up for the rewards program. I gave this place 5*s because "Chris" knocked the customer service aspect out the park from the Phone call to helping me through my transaction (give the man a raise)! Additionally, the store was very clean and conveniently located in a shopping plaza around other stores with plenty of parking. I highly recommend this store if you have health questions and just looking to live a better lifestyle all around!”

“I ordered Thanksgiving catering this year from the WO store and everything was wonderful. The whole process of placing the order and then picking up the order was seamless. But most importantly was the food was delicious. The turkey breast was moist and tasty. The stuffing was amazing as well as the gravy, mash potatoes, green beans and cranberry orange sauce. I highly recommend them for catering and will absolutely use them again.”

“This store has great organic & fresh produce options. The GF/DF selection is fantastic! I love utilizing the Amazon order and pick up option for prime members and the in store return option. The snack corner for kids is a nice touch. There can be improved staffing in terms of grocery packers as I’ve had to pack my own groceries multiple times despite asking the cashier to ask another employee for assistance- I had my newborn child in my arms and still wasn’t able to secure any help. Besides this inconvenience, my shopping experiences have overall been pleasant and I will continue being a regular customer.”

“1200 stores closed! They went bankrupt from what the employee told me, but a lot of independently owned franchises are still open. The Lyndhurst store is gone after 20 years! The store in Belleville says closed if you look it up! What a shame! They send your order by mail for free if it's not in stock in the store. The employees were always very helpful and patient. I'm sorry to see all those stores closed and people that lost thier jobs. I will still go to the stores that are open though, and hopefully they will recover and be around for a while.”

“Has everything you need. From protein powders to prostate pills. Gnc will offer you your basic nutritional needs, this one is no different. The staff is friendly knowledgeable more so on gnc products because they get trained to know more about their brand and always suggest them. However most are somewhat educated on the other products that they have in stock. Inventory is always stocked and they will even order online and mail it to you if out of stock or check the database to see if a nearby location has any on hand. They also have monthly promotions mainly bogo's. If your a beginner, a serious fitness fanatic, or just need some muti vitamins this location should be able to meet your needs. Will add they are a little on the pricey side but most vitamins store are, hey you pay for convince.”
