This year I went to the Union office on Chestnut Street, and I was greeted by Tracy Cauthen, Tax Associate. He was polite, knowledgeable and very informative.

I've file my personal taxes with H&R block in person for a number of years without an issue. This year with Covid i decided to book online to have my personal and business taxes done virtually. I uploaded my tax paperwork onto the H&R website and scheduled a 12pm virtual appointment online with the tax rep Robert. I never received a call at 12. I called HR corporate and was told my information and appointment was never scheduled yet the website has my information and appointment list. Furthermore, the website stated that my taxes was actively being worked on all morning, I wish I could attach a screenshot. I was able to schedule a 4:30 appointment but again never received a call back. Long story short, when i finally got to speak to Robert at 6:30 he told me that my taxes could not be done today which was the S Corp deadline. I would of file with my accountant but she's on vacation. She files my taxes the same day without an issue. Wasted a whole day getting the run around.

If I could give 0 stars I would, these lovely people had the audacity of trying to charge me $200+ to file my taxes. Tenisha did such a great job that when I checked for my refund, I found out she had not even filed my taxes. Now I have to scramble to find all my paperwork again because I made the mistake of leaving it all there. (They close after tax season so I couldn’t go back for it). If you’re going to pay more than $70 to get your taxes done, please just go to a local accountant and not this Kmart equivalent of a tax place.

I've been using H&R since the early 2010's and don't plan on changing that anytime soon. Patty and Ken are great tax pro's. You wont regret seeing either of them.
