Today I went in to drop off a gold chain that my excited dog had ripped off my neck. It held a beautiful pearl that I had received for Christmas. I asked for some options when I found out I could also pick up a repaired garnet ring bequeathed to me by one of my oldest friends who left us late last year. Both born in January, her widower sent it to me in good condition, but in no time, two prongs broke off and one of stones disappeared. I'm hard on jewelry! 😫
