Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service and Refused Return – Union, NJ Location
Dear Snipes Customer Service,
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a disappointing experience I had at your Union, NJ location (2401 US Highway 22, Unit 2D) on June 4, 2025, at approximately 4:50 PM.
I visited the store to return a pair of defective sneakers. I had the original box and the receipt with me. Despite meeting all the requirements for a return due to a product defect, the two male employees at the counter informed me that the item was a “final sale” and could not be returned. Based on prior experience with defective returns at this same store, I knew this was incorrect policy and felt that the employees simply did not want to process the return.
Rather than escalate the situation in-store, I chose to leave. I then contacted another Snipes location, where I was informed that a return would be accepted with a valid receipt — exactly what I had brought with me. I was ultimately able to complete the return at that other location without issue.
This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. It reflects poorly on the customer service standards at the Union, NJ store, especially when compared to the helpful and accommodating staff at the other location. I respectfully request that this matter be addressed with the staff involved so that other customers do not face the same treatment.
Thank you for your time and attention. I would appreciate a response regarding how this will be resolved.

I came by to browse shoes today and both RJ and the manager on duty were extremely friendly and helpful. I found exactly what I was looking for and I recommend checking them out.

I have been here a couple of times and it was good but on this one occasion the manager was very rude. She made unnecessary comments and acted as if she did not want any kind of business whatsoever. The customer surely is always right and this time it did not seem that way in any form.

Visited here on Saturday my 4 year old had do use the bath the guy said sure the manger which was a older lady said is out of order not to mention I was spending over $500 so guess what cancel my order honey such a disgrace will never shop at snipes.

Kicks and more kicks! Sneakers galore. Staff a bit clueless but cheerful. Tricky ingress from treacherous RT22, and almost as tricky from Liberty Ave. Lots of parking if you make it safely in the parking lot!
