The worst restaurant depot. 25% on some produce, I took one and the manager gave me crazy hard time because it didn’t have sticker on it. I took a picture and showed it to her, it didn’t matter. You want to grab something from sale rack? Think again. They are going to try so hard to take full price on it. I have been coming here more than 10 years spending more than 3k every week, only because it’s short distance. Go somewhere else if there’s better option. This place is worst than the worst.

A very bad experience with the receiving people, the manager was very rude, he doesn't know how to express himself with respect, I arrived and told him good morning and he didn't answer me, my appointment was at 6:00 am, I arrived at 5:45 and he told me with attitude that my support was at 9:00 am, we already started badly, well I sat until 9:00 am, they didn't call me, I went to the office, they were sitting talking and many trucks were outside waiting, they gave me the door and took a long time to unload, I do not recommend this place, they do not respect your support, gentlemen administrators of this store, check out your receiving workers, they do not do their job

I had an appointment for today, when I arrived the porter was very unhappy and said that he has an appointment for tomorrow in his computer and he doesn't care that I only have 3 pallets
Update: The dock was given quickly, but let the employees be friendlier, otherwise it will give the impression that a truck driver came to the house

Information in past reviews clearly display that there is an oversight issue within the corporate stream & the customer service issue is clearly a trickle down effect. In conclusion, no employees at restaurant depot meet the qualifications for their position. Most presumably, South Plainfield is full of miserable, insufferable people who don't prioritize your bottom line. May you soon close your doors 🙏🏾

Where are the negative STARS???? My aunt bought stock fish on Thursday and it was spoiled. She was even shocked to know that they had it in the freezer. She asked are you sure? We found a way to get it cut being as though they don't cut it at this place and it WAS SPOILED. SHE SPENT $273.61. When she went back to return it today they only gave her $236.41. How dare them!!!!! May sure you don't buy something they cannot cut because you will be buying spoiled food. 🤢🤢🤢 Had she fixed this we would be SICK. I AM SO EMBARRASSED I BROUGHT HER THERE.

If can I will give them 0 but is no 0.This is one of worst receiver where we are going. We are going almost every week to this faculty for delivery and always our trk is stuck there for 4-8 hours. They are set del. appt but they never respect that time. Our trk is there always ontime and always is waiting for 4-8 hours and always I need to cancel our next load. Trust me , if you don't have contract and must go there don't book a load going to Union NJ . Trust me will stuck there for hours

Customer service sucks.waiting outside for over hour while customer service on their cell phones. First one in lane and the only one in lane for about 30 mins. Registes r not crowded. Everyone walking around, on cell phones. As of now lane is around the corner. Again customer service sitting at front desk on cell phone. We where told they woud open door in 10 mins, 10 minutes was 30 ago. Restaurant Depot union nj location. Attempt to sell product cake circle 100 count for 40.47 . 40.47 circles are for 250 count. I stead of going extra mile to find correct price, he attempt to sell me the above for 30.00 ? You do math. 250 count for 40.47 / 100 count for 30.00. help me make sense of that. When I asked to speak to him and I mentioned the above, now all of a sudden he can't sell them without knowing the price. Wow!! This guy actually attempt to rip me off, if I would have agreed. Besides this guy demeanor is one of a rattlesnake he has no personality when dealing with people or maybe it was just me. No need to report it to corporate they're not going to do anything about it, so I'm posting it. October 13th 2024. 10:00 a.m
