Store has a large variety of items including over the counter medications, greeting cards, seasonal decor, gift wrap and gift bags, balloons, toys, travel size items, special need items, and school supplies. The list goes on. The staff has been employed here for many years and have an invested interest in your complete satisfaction. The owner, Vish Patel, greets all with a big smile. Free parking as well on the street or in the parking lot behind the pharmacy. I have had only great experiences here. I highly recommend this local gem.”
“I discovered this pharmacy Monday when CVS was out of My medicine. I called and spoke to the pharmacist who was so nice. He told me to just have my RX sent over. He followed up our conversation with a text & even though it was after 7 when I got there they were still open because they knew I was coming! I had a hard time parking, but they told me next time to park in the garage & there's no cost! He explained the medication, & advised of possible side effects. I'm having all of my prescriptions filled here going forward.”

“A great local long standing family operated Pharmacy off central Ave in University Heights Newark NJ. This pharmacy is definitely underrated. They provide the same resources in a “non-corporate” way. The pharmacist here is a wonderful caring man, who will go out of his way to help you. They offer vaccines and more. (It’s not a big place to go shopping) But if you’re looking for a local pharmacist that will always be on top of your medication, this is the spot. (Near Giovanni Pizza)”

“I went into manhattan on a bus departing from Verona with my girlfriend for my 24th birthday. It was a cold winters day filled with the exploration of the Bronx Botanical Gardens, the Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Natural History. Culturally enriching and informative, just what you want out of a birthday. With worn out feet and cold noses from an exhilarating day, the bus dropped us off safely back in Verona. As we waited for my girlfriend's father to pick us up in his car, we warmed ourselves up in this Walgreens. If I didn't know I had left Manhattan, I would have assumed this Walgreens was actually a fourth museum I was visiting in the heart of the big apple. The aisles were filled to the brim with fascinating exhibits and displays that left me awe inspired. 5/5 this is a museum quality Walgreens on par with the great museums of New York.”
