A terrible school that does not want to develop a child that is willing and able to learn. my grandson was moved from one classroom to another without any guidance and within one month asked to leave the school due to the teacher not being able to develop him and saying he was not ready and should not of been in the first place.I would not recommend the school to anyone that I care about

This is my daughter's second year here and my son started this year. The teachers are amazing and my children love going to school. They learn so much there.

My daughter was enrolled at this school at the age of 2 1/2 for about 1 week and they slowly started to cut her time down. It started with her lunch period and it progressed to the school day. Keep in mind there are no prerequisites to enroll your child here. What should have been our first child's wonderful school experience was quickly turned into a nightmare. We were heartbroken and appalled at how our daughter was treated. They dictate to you what is best for child and leave you no options. They are heartless and so unkind. I do NOT recommend this school to anyone!! They preach the teachings of Maria Montessori and when it ultimately comes down to it they talk the "talk" but do NOT walk the "walk". They do not meet the child where they are and if your child is not able to sit for an entire hour for lunch they will not allow your child to stay. The head teacher has zero patience and zero tolerance for any child who does not meet her mold. Stay far away from this school. Your child deserves more

We are finishing up our 3rd year at TCH and it has been a wonderful pre-school experience. The teachers have been warm and welcoming from the start. My son has learned so much, including life skills, patience as well as confidence in himself, which are taught as per the Montessori Method. He is grasping the math foundations which will help him once he enters public school. I am sad to see his final year is ending soon, but know that TCH has prepared my son for the next steps. I highly recommend this pre-school!

The Children's House is a wonderful school that follow the true Montessori Method, unlike some other Montessori schools in the area. This is our fifth year at The Children's House. Our first child completed all three years and transitioned beautifully into First Grade public school. She left The Children's House with great confidence and independence. Our second child started in the Young 3's program and is now in his second year. They are extremely observant of all the children and are always quick to involve parents in their development. They are patient, kind and very caring. Our third child will begin in the Young 3's program in the Fall. The Young 3's program is exceptional and the teachers are fantastic. We are very grateful for the love and care The Children's House has given our family over the years. They continue to exceed our expectations and we truly believe that they want nothing but the best for our children. In addition, the family community is very close and strong. The relationships we have formed over the years have been wonderful. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for preschool through kindergarten education.

We have been a part of the TCH family for 4 years. My oldest who has graduated, is a smart, responsible, compassionate young boy because of his teachers and strong adherence to the Montessori methodology at TCH.My second, who is currently enrolled, has grown before our eyes. He struggled with his verbal skills at first, but through the careful attention of his amazing teachers ("friends") he is speaking clear as can be. The school adapts to the child. He loves creating stories, so each day he comes home with one transcribed by his teacher, accompanied by a drawing. The teachers cultivate this type of creativity and embrace the independence in children, allowing them to learn. We will be heartbroken on our last day at TCH. The staff has become family. We only wish we could keep the kids there through 8th grade!I cannot give enough praise of the merits of this school and the Montessori methodology. If there is a check I don't mind writing each month, this is it.
