If I could give ZERO stars I would. It's unbelievable how things are ran with this credit union. We signed up when this was SJ Federal Credit Union over 8 years ago for our RV loan. We set up automatic withdraw bi-weekly from my husband's paycheck. This went smoothly for 8 YEARS. Now, it is hit or miss if they transfer the loan payment. I've become past due on one bi-weekly payment because they never took it out and I didn't catch it until I called about another issue and they told me it was past due. Also, if you fall behind more than 1 day past the grace period they will drain your account of any funds with no notice. Horrible!! Customer service on the phone has no compassion or understanding they are rude. However going into the branch they seemed a little more caring and understanding but unfortunately they don't have the end say in anything. Needless to say as soon as our loans are paid off we will NEVER use this credit union again.

The only bank I know that takes your money due to inactivity. Any other bank the account goes dormant. I had mobile banking as I do all my banking digitally and then one day it said there would be maintenance and then my access was gone. By the time I’m done work the bank is always closed and the few times that I tried to call to fix it they were closed. Today I finally get a chance to call again and I get back in and see that they’ve been taking money out every month due to inactivity. My mother has stage 4 cancer and I work full time so I can’t make it into the bank and your call center is always closed when I call. I will dispute and then I’m leaving. Horrible experience. I’ve worked in banking for years and have never heard of taking a few due to inactivity. Now you will have one less customer and I’ll make sure everyone I have access to knows about it too.

Idk where to even start I've been with the bank for 18 years when it was South Jersey Federal Credit Union and now that its first harvest Credit Union. When I call customer service it's the worst they give you the run around no one knows exactly what they're talking about. What type of Bank doesn't allow you to set up security measures for your debit card! I was told the only way to make sure fraudulent activity doesn't happen on my debit card is to get a new one which is ridiculous. You might ask why I won't get a new one because last time I needed a new debit card it got sent to 2 different addresses even though I've had the same address since I've been with this Bank fishy to me and once my debit card got sent to the bank it was already opened by a sales associate because he had to "check" to see what it was which isn't true because the manager of the bank never opened up any of them anytime before smh soon as my loan is paid in full im done oh and don't get me started on online banking good luck setting up and logging in! I cant no matter what i do I even called to get help and they couldn't even help me. I've been receiving promotional emails from FHCU even communicated through email when I got my loan but was told there's no email on file there's no record of me as far as online banking smh absolutely ridiculous

Very unprofessional. Charges fees for things you didn’t even sign up for and staff doesn’t know what they’re doing. Don’t bank here if you want your paycheck held for 2 weeks. Does not comply with bank regulations!

Can’t ever get a hold of anyone. Been on the phone for an hour still can’t get in touch with anyone. Always have a hard time logging into account at least every few months..

Worst financial institution I have ever had dealings with! Was referred to them for student loan financing, for my son. I submitted the required documents and they kept requesting more. I have a 700 credit score with no late payments or problems of any kind with my credit. I had no problems at all getting approved for my mortgage with less documentation! I have other financing accounts with excellent ratings and never any issues. I know I make more than enough to cover this very small financing request. Don't waste your time! They will waste plenty of your time and not satisfy your financing request anyway! What a joke!

This is the worst bank. I have had so many problems over the years. The ATM in Deptford didn't give me my money and it took the bank 7 days to give me my money back. Since Covid they changed their hours and close at 4:00. I deposited a check from my mortgage company and the online system says there is a hold and does not tell you for how long. I called the 232-9000 number and the representative said they no longer have direct numbers to a branch and that a customer can not speak to a supervisor or a manager unless we walk into a branch. That would mean taking a day off from work because I can't get there before 4:00. There systems are constantly down and no one could help me. The last time a hold was placed on my account it was from an account that I share with my husband. When I said I worked at a bank for years and customers could speak to management if they asked. Tamika told me "Well this isn't a bank it is a credit union." This credit union is not customer friendly and I am not at all happy. I will be shopping around for a new bank considering I have more money in my accounts that could cover the deposited checks so no hold should have been placed. Find a new bank this is not the one!

Excellent credit union. My son just opened an account here for his first summer job. The staff has always been friendly and the ATMs are very accessible.

I've been calling for a week with long wait times over an hour plus have even called to use Eva as a online assistance my account is locked I've been trying to get in contact with someone to unlock my account this is very inconvenient and at this time looking to close my account with this institution due to week long inconvenience I have also tried this method of contact and no one has reached back out.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE or as they call it ‘Member Services” around! I wasted two (2) days trying to get through to a human, at all hours of the day, with NO SUCCESS!!! Worst bank ever. Went down hill with the name change. My husband has been on hold for nearly four hours to try and contact someone about a major issue with his bank account. Can’t access our money because of the issue. Absolutely terrible customer service - considering there isn’t any since no one wants to answer the phone. Do not bank here.

Terrrrrrrrible credit union! Scamming members for money and do not take any responsibility for it. Their app never ever works. They fire all the good employees and leave the ones who have no idea what they're doing. Their wait time is ridiculously long for no reason. I literally have absolutely NOTHING positive to say about this place!
