If you've used gyms for years you may remember a few disturbing experiences with noises some disrespectful people around you make, like weight drops, loud music on phones, yelling to others etc. This Echelon gym, unfortunately, seem to be one you can get bitten by that kind of mess, due to their loose management and polices on work out areas, I'm unexpectedly finding out. - When I brought a complaint about a man who ignored my request to turn down the loud music he was playing from his phone just three feet from my ear on the right next bike machine, one of managers said they can't do anything because they have no regulations for music played from phones, and I'd need to (stop my work out to ) move away from any disturbing member. This gym floors are just like subway train cars, no contol over such disturbers, they really meant. It's a decent gym for feature wise. I'm reaching them to improve it but this point it's very disappointing as I wanted to work out respectful and peaceful environments.

Gym management condones vile language and violent behavior in front of children. My kid takes swimming lessons there. The swimming school is great, no complaints there. Took my kid into the locker room to dry his hair under the hand dryer which apparently not allowed, fine, mistake made. Some guy in there took offense to my kid using the dryer in an unapproved manner (clearly not a stable individual), got into an argument with me and cursed viley. I took this matter to management asking them if they condone this sort of behavior in front of children. In so many words they basically said yes and f off. At the very least they could've apologized even if nothing could be done, but no...no apology, no nothing, just f you. Last week they had an incident in the pool where some kids father went nuts and threw things around yelling behaving like an animal. No one from gym admin said or did anything at the time. The place is trash, management is trash. If you're a middle aged fat guy with false hopes of still getting in shape, then this place is for you...if you want to take your kids there for swimming lessons or whatever, think twice now.

Since joining the gym 2 months ago I can say from my own experience this a great place to workout. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Shannon who showed me the facilities and Eric have always greeted me with a smile and friendly conversation. (Not something you see in other gyms). The people I’ve met working out at this facility have been amazing as well.Overall I think this is a great place to get in a great workout in a true friendly atmosphere.

I cancelled my membershipI just was not making the time to go to this gym. But the staff were always friendly, the amenities were always up to date, and the environment was always clean. Great establishment. I hope I can recommit to this place later down the road.

Had a tour with Anna at the new Echelon fitness in Audubon and it went great. She was very informative and easy to talk to. I love the variety of equipment they have and excited to join some of the classes they offer.

I’ve been going to this gym for 3 1/2 years and I enjoy the spin classes so much with Kayla, pump class with Keli and classes with Richard. I would give them 5 stars if it was just about them!!I had suddenly had to move due to my husbands job - moving to NY and obviously yet sadly had to cancel my membership. I couldn’t give a 30 Day notice because it was sudden. I canceled a day before my bill date so I wouldn’t get charged. When I explained the situation, the gentleman told me that it’s stated in the contract I had to pay a month in advance and he doesn’t make any exceptions. I’m also a frontline worker. Then I told him but y’all did it for my husband when he had to cancel? You didn’t charge him for an extra month? Can you explain that? He checked to verify and said “we weren’t supposed to do that”. But how is that aceptable and professional?I was really disappointed. It’s unfortunate I had to leave with that obnoxious impression of their management.

Echelon Fitness in Voorhees is EXCELLENT. The gym culture there is positive, supportive, electric, and ALIVE. The staff is platinum: Alyssa, AJ, Jeff, Bridget, Trey, and all the others clearly love what they do and maintain a spirit there that is motivating and uplifting. The THRIVE group classes are especially excellent. Thank you!

I started going to this gym mostly for the pool. Its a good size and looks nice when you first see it while touring. HOWEVER, they let a swim school come in during hours when people just get out of work and the school has scheduled time slots for 4 days of the week (including weekends when the gym is already barely open on the weekends— closes so early). Yes, there are a few lanes open (usually 2-3) during the same times as the school, but the kids are so loud and it’s hard to really enjoy yourself and get into your workout. Also, I’ve gone at hours later than the swim school but the pool is always disgusting on the days they swim. Like bandaids and hair everywhere in the pool. And I only experience this level of unsanitary conditions on days that the kids swim. I feel like letting the swim school rent out the pool is just another way the owners make a quick buck. This gym isn’t exactly cheap and there are a few actual swim schools nearby. Im extremely upset about this situation but I know it won't change (again bc its good money for the owners).

I am really loving this gym. I just joined because it had a pool and I’ve had multiple injuries of my back and neck. I signed up for the Thrive functional training with Mike. I’m 54 and was worried because of my injuries. Every workout, he is giving me the proper weights, form and modifications as needed. There are people of all ages and fitness levels up to 10 people in class and I feel supported. I also love the Les Mill Body Pump classes, slow flow yoga and the pool. I feel completely comfortable at this gym. I just wish they had Les Mills Combat for kickboxing. I hope they will reconsider and start up another class. Otherwise, great hours and lots to do. Clean also. Thanks to Echelon Fitness, I feel more powerful already.

Unfortunately had a very bad experience with this gym. Cancelled during COVID months but apparently gym never received email, or so they say. This was after being told I could not cancel over the phone. Brought it up with the owner and would only refund the minimal amount. Claims they are “family owned and with small funds” while bragging about opening another gym. Very upsetting as this is the treatment you would expect from a bigger gym. Provided all documentation needed and was still denied.

If it wasn't for the Sales Manager I would give this gym a 5 star rating because it's not bad. I could do without the used car person sales tactics If I wanted to buy a lemon I would be fully prepared to haggle. I wasn't expecting that when I tried to downgrade my membership in order to use those monies upstairs in one of their fit training programs. Now they lost what would have been a great customer. I feel bad for David because he is good at what he does and I was looking forward to working with him again. Now it's back to the drawing board. PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS REVIEW. THE APPLICATION HAS SEVERAL PROGRAMS ON IT SO ONCE THE APPLICATION IS SIGNED THEY CAN CHOOSE WHAT PROGRAM FITS THEM BEST AS A SALESPERSON. I'M CURRENTLY FIGHTING WITH THEM BECAUSE THAY CONTINUE TO BILL MY CARD FOR THE FULL AMOUNT AFTER I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DOWNGRADED. I DON'T NEED THE EXTRA STRESS.

Like other reviews state, the sales people will scam you. Was told by the sales rep Dennis that you got X many personal training sessions a month. I went through those sessions in the first month and I'm told it's $50 a session on top of the biweekly membership. Went to downgrade to the standard membership and of course no one is available to help.Otherwise the personal trainers are 5 stars and the equipment a good 4.
