Goodwill Store & Donation Center

Thrift Stores
Hours: Goodwill Store & Donation Center is a nonprofit organization that accepts donations of clothing, accessories, home décor, books, toys, furniture, and home medical equipment throughout the region. The store sells these items at reasonable prices to value-conscious shoppers, offering a variety of finds for those willing to browse. While some reviews mention that the store could benefit from better organization and a more open layout, many customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff. One employee, in particular, is praised for recognizing customers, being patient, and providing excellent assistance, which enhances the shopping experience. Shoppers often find good deals and occasionally discover hidden gems, though some note that items can be overpriced compared to their value or other stores. The store is also appreciated for its role in supporting community programs, including job training and education initiatives like the Helms Academy, which offers free high school diplomas. Despite some concerns about cramped spaces and pricing, customers generally enjoy visiting, finding it a worthwhile place to look for quality items at affordable prices. The staff's patience and friendliness are often highlighted as positive aspects, making the store a welcoming environment for shoppers.
