I just got my hair colored by Jade today. All I can say is she made me look so beautiful. When I came in I looked ruff. Thank you Jade I will be scheduling another appointment with you soon.I loved the atmosphere also, it was very welcoming and very personable. Thank you Tara's hair salon , I jad the best experience ever. Oh yeah I love my new hair style also.

It's hard to find a not only good, but reliable salon. My scheduled appointment always starts on time, which is huge to me! I have had a few hairstyles by Ms. Jade and she is amazing!! I love their knowledge about natural hair. Very respectful. Also, they include washing your hair as apart of the service. I notice this practice is dying so I appreciate that it is still implemented here. So grateful that I found her. I highly recommend coming here.

I went here and got my hair blown and trimmed a while ago. I was newly natural and when I say it was horrible. Horrible is not the word. They have no concept of natural black hair and gave me heat damage. I was so upset. And the owner could tell I wasnt happy. The beutican was struggling to get my hair straight and I'm like ok why did yall give thi inexperienced Individual my hair. Sadly a lot of black salons are all about weave and dont know a thing about actual black hair. And this place is one of them.

Tara is extremely professional and skilled. My hair is healthy and strong. She cuts and styles just the way I want it and it always turns out beautiful. Short wait times and clean, upscale atmosphere. Highly recommend for natural hair or any hair. Tara will get you right!

Visited for the 1st time 10 months ago. Way to overpriced. I was charged $70 for a wash/blowdry/trim/and press. Only reason I paid was because my step-daughter was woth me and I was trying to hold my composure. Her brochure states that all of that should uave been no more than $45 per head. Definitely upcharged the hell out of me. 2 heads i pad $140... NEVER AGAIN, SIS definitely create prices on acustomer basis.

Don't like the way business is done! I called due to the fact I wanted more information me being a prospective new client. Tara herself picked up. She was distant and cold! She did answer all my questions which is was great but....I wanted to get my hair braided she gave me several different ways to send pictures of the styles. They'd take a look then get back to me with pricing and how long it would take. I did just as I was instructed like as soon as I hung up. It's been 5 days and still no response. I emailed and it has been two weeks for that no response as well! Plus all these requirements on new customers. They can only come during the week. I was born and raised in NYC where some of the BEST hair stylist in the world conduct business and they don't even do that . It will be appointment only and maybe a consultation first. I'm a business owner and I'd never do this to new business because you never know! As I said I come from NYC I'm used to the best of the best top notch. When people act like this I move on to another business who wants my business. In NYC we have lots of choices in places like NJ people are limited due to several reasons but that's no excuse for thinking you're so exclusive you can treat people any way you choose. Not cool! I will say this if you have a different experience than I had i'm glad at least it was good for you!
