I had electric service at my home on 9-12-24. The tech Giang Pham was on-time, courteous, and knowledgeable. (Nothing to do with Mr. Pham, but I told him that I thought the service was good, but kind of expensive for what had been done.)

The team that came from Rostron gets an A plus in our book. Right from Joe who did a wonderful job of presenting our options and overseeing the work to Sean, Christian and Chris who did an excellent job with the install . They were respectful of our home putting down a drop cloth to protect the floors. They arrived on time and worked diligently. They made sure everything was working properly before they left. Sean was very good at explaining how it all worked before leaving. I would highly recommend Rostron for your Air conditioning and heating needs.

I have used Tom Rostron to service my systems bi-annually for the last 5 years. They contact me to set up service appointments & have maintained my aged equipment with no experienced down time throughout. Every service tech has been knowledgeable & courteous.

Called this company to get services. They scheduled an appointment with me and gave me a block time with a 3 hour window.
Never showed, and no return call to MY call asking if they were coming.
So unprofessional!!
**UPDATE** on my previous review.
I am just now seeing the owner reply. Today I called this place and thought let me attempt one more time to get a quote but the chick who answered the phone happily advised me I was on a DO NOT SERVICE list. I was a bit surprised considering it was actually me who lost a day’s pay one year ago when this company couldn’t be bothered to show up for the scheduled appointment I had made with them. I came on here to check to see if I had left a review. Now I know why I am on a DO NOT SERVICE list. While reading the owner reply I remembered a lot more of why I left the review to begin with, quite honestly, I was very upset at the lack of regard this company had for someone who attempted to use their services.
1. I took a 1/2 day off from work the day they were coming to give me the quote, a day loss of pay!
2. I called to ask if they were coming and got no call back. This is what was the most upsetting and frustrating part of my interaction with this company and what led to my review in the first place.
3. I got a call only after I expressed my disappointment to the answering service, why not before? Never heard from the owner at all but he or she felt the desire to respond to my review with more digs and jabs rather than trying to call me.
I only got any response because I left the review. The owner says he was going to call me to offer me a free service, then why didn't he? He didn’t because he was upset that I left a negative review which I would have happily removed if I did in fact hear from the owner but I didn't. I guess those 7 reviews is what did me in with this owner.
I don't doubt that this company’s technicians do not work with 100% professionalism and are well experienced, however I wouldn’t know. My review and complaint is not about the SERVICE. It's disappointing to see the owner didn't go the extra mile when he was in the wrong. It is more unfortunate that I had to update this review to show the continued lack of professionalism on the administrative part, especially the companies owner.

Fantastic. The rare contractor that adapts and completes quickly.
I had had several contractors out to quote but only Rostron adapted to what I wanted and would handle the permits.
Once approved the unit and electrical was completed a week quickly and efficiently. There was a delay & they stayed beyond normal hours to insure basic services. And then returned a week later to finish the job.
They exemplify great service.

Our home was built in 1964. We have a gas hydronic hot water baseboard heating system. We live in a small ranch and for years have tried to cool the whole house with window units and fans. There was of course no ductwork in the house since it is hot-water baseboard heat. We had thought about putting in central air for years, but just kept putting it off. We had used Rostron years ago when we needed a new controller for our boiler. So, we decided to give them a call and asked for an estimate on what it would cost to have a separate HVAC system installed in our home while still keeping our separate boiler system. Joey Holland, who is their Estimator/Project Manager, came out the next day and what immediately stood out to us was that he arrived at the exact time that he had quoted for the visit right down to the minute! This doesn’t always happen these days. Joey went through the whole house and took measurements. We could tell immediately that he knew his stuff. He explained all the different systems that they had to offer and what would be best for us. We also had the original 100-amp electrical service to the home with the original fuse type electrical panel in the basement. We wanted this electrical service to be upgraded to a 200-amp service and to have a modern electrical circuit breaker panel installed. Joey came back with an estimate that same day via email and the estimate was broken down to show each unit or equipment that would be included with the new install. The estimate was very detailed. After going over the estimate that Joey had provided for us, my wife and I decided to do the complete upgrade and install. So, on August 19th, a crew of about 5 of their techs, of which I tried to remember most of their names, (Matt, Mike, Christian and Giang) came out and started their work. The biggest event for day one was upgrading the electrical service to the house. Rostron’s electrician, Giang, was just fantastic and very considerate. He was able to give us power for one window unit in our bedroom to keep us comfortable since the rest of the house had reached a temperature of 84 degrees. His work, along with the others was done to perfection! I am very fussy and what also impressed me was that all the new fixtures including the new conduit running down the side of my house was installed to perfection using a level. Giang was able to restore total power to our home by that evening. The next day, the guys came out to continue the install in the attic along with installing the new ducts in each room of the house. Giang also came and did his finishing work to complete the electrical upgrade. By the evening of the second day of the install, we had for the first time a central air conditioning system!
I would highly recommend Rostron Premium Home Services! Their professionalism and knowledge is top notch! You get a company that stands by their work and everything is done with pride. I have never experienced such professionalism like this company has to offer. This was one of the best decisions that my wife and I have ever made. My whole family is just thrilled with the work by Rostron Premium Home Services!

On a 90+ degree day our a/c shut down. We called the company who installed and serviced our unit to check it out. Their technician checked out our system for 1.5 hours and said that he couldn't fix it. We called Tom Rolston Co.. They sent a tech named Ryan. He worked on the system for 1.5 hours. He was joined by his coworker Mike. The two of them fixed the problem and we had a/c. Thank you Rolston.
