UPDATE 3/6: Owner personally called me; explained she was on vacation, had someone from the other side of the business helping her. Doesn't know if they were back in the warehouse, etc. She apologized and said she would be happy to take care of my business in the future. Class act.
Owner was not present when I went to pick up my UHaul, although I had called them twice prior to coming to make sure the furniture dolly I ordered and paid for was there; dock door was open, and there were 3 people who had been waiting for the owner. I managed to call Uhaul reservations and get the code to get the key to the truck. The furniture dolly which was imperative to my mood, was NOT in the truck. I returned at 7pm and the building was shot down. Did my return electronically, but the parking lot is small and difficult to park a 15 foot truck with trucks parked every other spot. A kind man helped reverse the truck between two other trucks.

Master Secure Storage offered a clean and functional storage facility with helpful staff members. While the overall experience is positive, the equipment is a bit outdated and noisy compared to newer storage options. Despite this, it remains a viable choice for those in need of storage, particularly if convenience is a priority.

After almost 7 years as a loyal renter, I moved and therefore needed to move my items out. I called to confirm my cancellation while in a van I rented with a driver I hired, only to find out that the ELEVATOR HAD BROKEN several days prior. My unit is on the SECOND FLOOR with only stair access. ABSOLUTELY NO NOTIFICATION was given to me at the time it broke so I could make other plans. I am forced to move several large pieces of furniture down the stairs, as I cannot afford to cancel everything I paid for. On top of this, NOT ONCE did the manager I have dealt with for 7 years apologize for the issue. They are raising their rates and I would recommend renting with ANYONE ELSE, not them.

I have had my items in storage since 2019 and would like to say that mark and Master Secure Storage are going to be the most professional storage you will find in NJ! I just retrieved my belongings after a year + and it was seamless and stress free

I have never had a more pleasurable experience with a sales associate in my life. I spoke to Mark after trouble with the U-Haul app. He made sure my reservation was done correctly and answered my multitude of calls. Mark is a great guy, with prompt service, and always extremely polite.I would drive out of my way simply to rent another U-Haul from him!
