I’ve been living in the Wanaque/Ringwood area for quite some time. Quick check is part of my day. Most mornings start with a cup of coffee and a breakfast item. I enjoy the croissant egg sandwich. The staff is always quick with a smile and super friendly. Coffee is always hot and seems fresh. Deli counter is quick to prepare your items even during the busiest of times.
I would recommend them to friends and family alike. And I do!

9am. Dark roast coffee was watery, even the Colombian roast was a little off taste. They have a bathroom key.

I stopped by for breakfast and coffee this morning. Although there weren’t many people there, I ended up waiting about 15 minutes for a croissant and iced latte. Unfortunately, the latte tasted more like milk, so I ended up making my coffee at home instead, as the latte got tossed into the trash.. There goes $4 down the drain.

Went here with friends at night for coffee. Old guy at the register falsely targeted me on the loud speaker...in front of everyone in the store saying i need to leave my backpack in the corner…accusing me of looking like someone who steals. Cant help but feel it was based on the way i dress (stereotyping) And i was not the only person in the store with a backpack. Woman behind the food counter defended me (thank you) and her and the old guy went back and forth for a bit but at this point all the customers in the store were looking at me. i decided to just leave and wait for my friends outside to save myself some dignity. Everyone in the store was just as shocked as i was and 4-5 of them left and talked to me outside defending me. Im in disbelief that i got treated this way. Didnt even get the snack i wanted- im assuming theres a shoplifting problem at this store, but targeting specific people does not make the reason justified. Ive rarely ever had to write a review. Do better

I ordered two bowls of food, with a 16 oz coffee. My total came to nearly $15. The eggs were the only thing digusting with the food itself. That was not my main concern. What really got under my skin was the fact that while I was eating the little portions they serve, I was taken aback at just how petty and greedy this establishment is. The center of each bowl was purposely altered upwards to form of a protuding triangle. Thus taking away from the volume of the food inside of the bowls. You can actually see the unused bowls on the work counter with the normal round, unaltered bottoms. I took a picture showing the two bowls together. I pushed down the bottom of one of them back down to illustrate what they had done. I tested them both by filling each of them with water to the first line inside of each. A normal one held 8.2 ounces of water, while the altered one held 6.8. Never again will I go to Quick Chek.

Yeaterday around 4pm 7/1/24 I made my usual stop at QuickChek for my cup of coffee while on my power walk. Lawrence one of the employees there doing deli/coffee duty made sure I had nice fresh hot coffee as most of the pots needed changing. Thank you, Lawrence! You made my day! ?
Also, I always come to this QuickChek during my daily power walk.
Wes at the checkout is great in reminding me to use my rewards ID. Wes does a great job!
Keeps me coming back when you have great employees like Lawrence & Wes!
