“Helpful and customer service oriented staff: Deryl is THE BEST, a pleasure. I needed a can of compressed air, to clean a non-working old thermostat, to be able to have heat last night. It was late and I didn't want to drive to Newton nor Milford, when they likely don't even have that item! Deryl found 2 cans at THE DOLLAR STORE! AND it worked, i have heat! Thank You.”
“friendly staff, good food and holiday selection, only complaint is that some of my frozen and refrigerated food was in large bags primarily full of shelf stable snacks, if I had forgotten that I got them then the food would have spoiled but I remembered that I got more than what was in the two bags of freezer goods.”
“Excellent store, very nice workers. I thought I lost my pocketbook and found it in the last store I thank God. But I wanna say thank you to the young man that immediately stopped doing what he was doing to go check the cameras out. Kudos to you. I think he’s one of the managers not sure but has been there quite a few years and has always been really pleasant towards customers. Thanks again”

“The people at Dollar General are sincere, intelligent and sweet. they remember everything about me, and we chat often they even give me advice on where to find things that are not there… Dave, Lauren, Heather, and Holly are an absolute delight, and now Jordan has joined from CVS. this is the only place where I can find my favorite soda, cleaners (check out the seasonal aisle: bleach $1) and treats for a low amount of money! I treasure going there!

“I came from far away to check out this store and see what they had on clearance from Valentine's Day. Sadly not much. While there my husband needed to use the rest room and was told they were out of order. How in the world does a store not have a working rest room for employees and patrons?”
