If you need help with your bike, I have not found a more honest and skillfull team of mechanics than the wrenchers at The Village Smith. They're exactly what I look for if I have to take my bike somewhere. I know my stuff, and I know that they know their stuff. I trust them.

I brought my bike to a guy in rockaway and he said he totally fixed my bike and everything was up to date and safe to ride. I still had problems with my harley after that so when I got my new house in sussex I had to find a new mechanic and I found Larry. Within 15 seconds one of his mechanics looked at my back tire and found my original wiring issue. Then looking into my bike a little further Larry then saw my tires were original since 07 my brakes were seized with a bunch of other things. He asked me for a budget (which no one does typically people don't care they'll just charge you) not Larry. He fixed all my problems and a lot more than I expected all for a very reasonable price and made my bike feel new again. I would tell anyone and I mean anyone who wants your bike fixed right and fair go see Larry !!!!

I have nothing good to say about this business. All Larry does is text. You can’t get them on the phone ever. I dropped my bike with them in the beginning of June and got nothing but excuses through text. Then I finally called him out on how long it was taking and he said the bike is too messed up to warranty my work so everything is free of charge, I have no clue what he did? Thanks for holding my bike for half the season for nothing dude.

Okay, imagine you're three states from home and your bike starts trailing oil all over the road. You try to limp to safety and it locks up. Well if you're incredibly lucky it happens to be in the middle of nowhere North Jersey and someone tells you about this shop. I had made a truly horrific rookie mistake and seized the engine. My initial call once he scoped and diagnosed the problem was- up to here you owe me nothing but if you want me to continue I can. Super long story short I had a new motor in my bike in no time flat and honestly my bike runs better today than it did before it got in their shop. My only regret is they aren't closer so I can have any work done I need there. If I was looking to have a bike restored etc. I wouldn't blink at making a 5 hour ride to take it to them though, they're worth every penny and every mile.

The first time I met Larry, he made me fell like I was part of his family. He spent at least an hour with me going over what needed to be done to the bike. He was very thorough and took the time to make sure I understood what he was going to do. He kept me updated via text as to the progress he was making. He told me I was always welcome to stop by and watch him work. The day I picked the bike up, he again spent a lot of time going over everything that was done. He made sure that I understood and answered all my questions.I live about 45 minutes from his shop but glad the distance didn't stop me from going to him. The increase in performance is way more than I anticipated. If anybody needs anything done to a motorcycle do not hesitate going to him. You won't be disappointed!!!

I Had A LOT of work done on my bike from this place. When I got my bike back, wanted to take it for a ride and oil was leaking all over the place. I went back to the owner and he was blaming his workers instead of taking the blame since it is his business and needless to say he wouldn't fix it. Took it to another mechanic and found out that the starter was put in upside down. I will never go back to The Village Smith. They are very sloppy and unknowledgeable and that is not who I want working on my bike.

Just recently stopped in there with a rear tire hoping theyed be able to put it on considering 5 other places rejected me for one reason or another. The gentleman running the place seem Knowledgeable, very kind, honest and very reasonable with the pricing, would recommend anyone with a motorcycle, quad, etc to stop in there if ya need anything fixed or replaced.

AMAZING!!! His work, craftsmanship and knowledge of working on the bike was excellent. Can’t thank Larry enough. He was able to fix a leaking fuel issue on my husband Harley Road King and also spotted other issue that Bergen Harley failed to informed my husband. The brakes were gone to the metal. The oil change was done thoroughly and completely. Checking all valves and cylinder correctly. This is why we love going to a small business shop supporting local small businesses. Your not just another number. He thoroughly checked everything that was needed. He have us as a customer for life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to all of our friends and family who they can trust. Price is exceptional compare to the big chain corporate.
