Short Background: I finally decided, after many years of yearning for a motorcycle, to execute my decision. It was not an easy decision to make, as there was a lot of research involved, minus knowing the exact brand and model I wanted since I was a kid.The Search: I started by searching near by stores around my zip code that were reputable, offered financing options, and had a Kawasaki Ninja 400 in stock. I visited a few locations and asked all the questions I had prepared. I decided to hold off on any motorcycles I may have been interested in, because I didn’t get that “Ohh this is the one for me,” feeling. So I continued to check inventory around me.The Decision: I ended up going to Town and Country Cycle knowing very well what inventory they had, as well as some great sales for a new motorcycle. They may be a smaller shop, but I must admit, they truly have a knowledgeable and welcoming staff and environment.I visited the shop with my husband, where we were greeted upon entrance, and told someone would be over to assist us shortly. While we browsed the current inventory they had, I saw the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 400 SE. I was not sure if we could sit on them, until Edgar made his way to us, and mentioned that we could sit on any of the inventory they had, and if there was one specific that needed to be moved for better access to give him a shout. Before allowing us to continue browsing, he asked if we had any questions that could better assist us. We mentioned that we were just browsing and appreciated his assistance. Then, I sat on the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 400 SE, and got that immediate “Ohhh this is the one for me” feeling. From that moment, I threw about 20 questions at Edgar and he did not hesitate on ensuring he accurately and fully answered every last one of them. By the time we left the store, I knew I would be back and I would be contacting Edgar directly due to his outstanding customer service. It took me about a full day to finally reach out to Edgar. We emailed back and forth despite it being busy season for them, and once again, I had many more in depth questions to ask. Let me just say that Edgar has the patience of a saint! He prioritized me as a person and customer by communicating with me in a friendly and professional manner. He was able to provide me with exact figures as far as “out the door” price, the companies they use for financing, and even a rough idea of the interest rate ranges. So, I decided to go forward with the credit check knowing I would have to wait until Tuesday when they were open and he was back in office.Edgar emailed me first thing Tuesday morning asking me to give the store a call. When I called him, he was able to provide me with various options as far as financing; he gave an honest opinion in reference to which option he thought would be the best. I was happy to be told that there would not be an early pay off penalty either. Needless to say, I was satisfied with the sale price on the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 400 SE and told him I wanted to go ahead with the purchase. The rest of the sale went very smooth; Edgar provided clear instructions on how to finalize the sale, pickup options, and was happy to do so via email, as this was the easiest communication option for me. I was able to schedule a visit to the store on the same day, after work, and sign off on the sale paperwork. We planned a day and time to have a friend of mine (with written permission and proper ID) to pick it up and drop off at my residence. Before leaving, Edgar directed me over to their t-shirts and told me I can pick out whatever one I would like.Jake, who was assisting another customer, acknowledged me immediately and assured me that if I needed a specific size to let him know. When Jake was finished assisting the other customer, he was able to grab me the size I needed and offered some great advice for a first time buyer and new rider. Jake is a kind and knowledgeable team member, who also offers outstanding customer service. In conclusion, I highly recommend Town and Country Cycle.

Just picked up my 2nd purchase (KLR650S). Excellent service just like last time. Basically purchased online in about 10 minutes. Edgar was easy to work with and prompt in responding to my inquiries. Everything was ready to go when I arrived as promised. There were no surprises. Transaction was complete and bike loaded on truck in about 20 minutes.

Absolutely great service. They pulled through when other dealers couldn't. They got it done, quickly, right and made the whole process as easy as can be.

I've purchased a few parts from this T&C. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. That's where the good ends... The service department is flat out rude. Every time I have called to make an appointment to have work done on my either my R1 or my R6, it's been really bad. Every time I call, I get the impression that I am just an inconvenience. Maybe if I bought my bikes there, it would be different, but who knows. Perception is reality when it comes to interacting with customers and my perception is, they really don't want to do any work for me. I really don't understand it. It's not just one time either. Every time I have called to make an appointment, they've gone out of their way to tell me why they couldn't do it. Excuse after excuse with the main reason being "we are too busy". Well I guess they don't need my business then. Good for them, I guess. It's not like I'm ever asking for an engine rebuild or anything time consuming. Example, I called to ask if I brought my wheels and new tires in, if they could mount them for me. I wasn't asking for a rush job. I said I'd leave them and they could do it when it was convenient for them. I didn't ask how much it would cost. Whatever they wanted to charge would have been fine. But no, I was told that unless I buy the tires from them, they wouldn't mount them. Really? Maybe they are very busy, I get that, but to be told that really put me off about the whole place. It wasn't like they said "I'm sorry, we are very busy, I can't squeeze you in". Even though if I had access to the mounting machine, I could mount both tires in 10 minutes. I used to be a tire mounter WAY back in the day and I know how long it takes if you know what you're doing. It was, "It's not worth our time because you didn't buy the tires from us, so we won't make enough money off of you to bother" . While they didn't say those exact words, that's what he was saying. So I ended up buying some $20 tire spoons from Amazon and mounting them myself in my garage. Added a $25 tire balancer from Harbor Freight and that was that. I will forever mount my own motorcycle tires rather than beg Town and Country to do me the huge favor of paying them to do it for me. I'm currently in the market for a new bike for my teenage son, and I wouldn't buy a motorcycle from these guys if it were the last one on earth, because of the way their service department treats me. EVERY time I have called for service. If I were the owner and my service department was pushing away business with potential customers the way these guys do, I would clean house and fire them, starting with the service manager and working my down to anyone who sends potential customers away, unless they've done everything they could to accommodate a paying customer. They're taking money out of the owners pocket, plain and simple. Apparently he/she doesn't care though. I am all about supporting local, privately owned businesses instead of buying everything online. It's so disappointing that we have to take our equipment out of town for service, instead of being able to support our locally owned shop, for the hobby that we love so much. I get that it's a business, but beyond that, the motorcycle community is jam packed with so may nice people, all willing to help each other, but sadly our local shop doesn't share that same spirit and sentiment. I'd love to open a local shop that services and sells parts and service for Sport bikes, Motocross, ATV's, even scooters. Everything the Harley shops don't do. Although I called Garden State Harley and they did say they will mount my tires for me Maybe some day I will open that shop and everyone will be welcome!

Town and Country Cycle is the place to go if you’re buying your first OR 10th bike! The experience they give you is nothing but the best. Edgar went above and beyond with sending me pictures and videos of my bike getting prepped and hyping up the day for pick up. Jacob in parts really helped hone in all my aftermarket parts requests by showing me all the options to make sure they were all things I’d be happy with. The bikes are prepped incredibly well, lubricated as they should be and that goes a long way for a lot of buyers. Not to mention, if you’re a lady and have attended an Over and Out Moto event, you get a discount! Most definitely will be buying from here again in the future. Thanks for all the help you guys, couldn’t have asked for a better experience buying my first brand new dirt bike!

This place is not like any other. I bought my first motorcycle here, it is a z400 Kawasaki. Edgar and his team were AMAZING. When I first came in I was only looking for a jacket because I was buying a used bike off somebody. The lady that works here literally bought in her riders jacket and let me try it on. She helped me with helmets and everything, she makes me feel like I'm her little sister. I then was looking at bikes and edgar came over to help me out with anything I needed. It turned out I really liked the bike edgar suggested and there was a great deal and warranty on it. I couldn't pass it up and this place is so friendly I knew I wanted to buy from them from the minute I met everyone. Edgar helped out with insurance questions and billing information. He even helped us load the bike. He takes his time with you, is honest and isn't pushy like other salesman's. Anyone who is looking for new riding gear or a new ride check on this place, they won't do you wrong!

Just bought a new Sherco and Edgar made the process as easy as possible and he was very knowledgeable about the bike. There is razor thin profit margins on selling dirt bikes but these guys still hooked me up with a sweet shirt and a nice discount on parts. Their parts department was impressive. Everyone there was polite and helpful. They had an incredible selection of bikes in stock. I live a few hours away and wish they were closer but they were worth the drive!

Have a husky 401 svart and my friends in NYC told me this is the spot for service, nowhere else! Brought her in for same day service with an appointment. The staff helped me unload my bike from a uhaul. Service was comprehensive and reasonable. The folks were all courteous and kind. You really can’t ask for more when it comes to moto shops. Worth the drive out to feel like me and my bike were well taken care of!!

Just got home with my new 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 650. This is my second bike purchase from here and both times were perfect. Thank you Edgar! The service team is also excellent. It's more than an hour away but I wouldn't go anywhere else.
